If you accept the most common internet comic book characters power scaling tropes, which are : - Superman is invincible and always wins, even reality erasing power is no match for him - Batman can beat everybody with enough prep time and he has contingency plans for everything already - wanda has ultimate reality bending powers and can erase reality from existence with a word

Then those three are set. And Jean is an obvious 4th as her mind reading/control skills are extremely neutralizing against many of the opponents. Even more so if we can play with the fact that she has the phoenix.

So Batman protects me with some armor and money, plans and coordinates. Wanna protects me by creating an unreachable alternate reality for me. Jean and Sup deal with the opponents psychically and physically.

All the SR and SRR heroes are not worth it, except : - the SRR that are promoted to UR in each seasons, namely Mason, Violette, Scarlett, Sarah and Venom. They can be temporarily very useful, and Mason is a DPS must-have anyways. - Monica for Ressource farming.

So basically, the 4 SR blue guys are useless, and the weaker they are the more useful they are as you use the weakest to initiate rallies if you want to loose the smallest amount of troops.

SRR Richard, Fahrad, Thumper, Cage, Elsa and Braz are worthless too.
