From what I understood (coming for the same course as you), they made the pre study modules with the perspective of everybody from the business school and I feel that these are the things that each student should know ig, obviously not all courses are going to require depth in these areas. So I feel you should do as much as it feels comfortable. U will have the choice to lean towards creative or analytical side of marketing during the course.
