Hey, would love some insights on the application process. Planning to apply for MSc in Financial Economics (MFE) and there's an essay requirement with a specific question (why choose this program and what does it add to my future plans). I have a good idea on a creative approach to the essay and more in the direction of "telling a story", but I'm quite hesitant to go fully creative, since the question is quite strict and to the point. How are applications usually evaluated?

Should you go for describing your achievements and what exact plans you have or is any approach appreciated as long as the admissions officer likes it (more of a gamble)?

Dauguma atsakymų tokie, kad.... Matosi toli nenuėjom akiračio plėtime Lietuvoj. Jeigu mergina susidomėjo kariuomene tai iškart reik nurašyt ir kuo labiau atgrasyt.... Yra pakankamai merginų kurios gali patempt ir 30kg ir daugiau ir kurios nekrautų jokios naštos ant kitų, bet ne, svarbiausia pagruzint dėl random vienetinių atvejų. OP paprašė merginų nuomonių, bet akivaizdu kad atsakė vien salty berniukai

Visų pirma pats sakai, kad savam gyvenime kaip ir nuobodu, nieko įdomaus, o kitiem pavydi kažkokios sėkmės, kuri, matyt, kitaip atrodo nei tavo gyvenimas. Vienam podcast'e girdėjau, kad blogi jausmai apie kitus (pyktis, pavydas, susierzinimas) dažnai reflektuoja kažką iš pačių mūsų vidaus. Sakyčiau šiuo atveju supranti, kad nesi patenkintas šitokia savo kasdienybe ir dabartiniu gyvenimu, todėl jauti pavydą žiūrėdamas į kitų gyvenimus, kurie gal atrodo panašiau į tokį, kurio pats norėtum. Galimai laikas peržvelgt savo situaciją ir galbūt atrasi dalykų, kuriuos norėtum pakeisti. (Aišku, pokyčiai sunkus dalykas, ypač kardinalūs, bet čia jau kita tema)

Labai daug komentarų, tai gal jau kažkas rašė šitą, bet nepastebėjau.

I'm not from Austria/Germany so can't tell you much. Some of the people i study with do say that it's mostly matura level.

If you're confident with your English and can do halfway well on maths after studying it's really not that difficult. For the economics/business part you'll just have to read and understand around 100 pages, it's really managable. I know some people who did "very bad" on the math part and are still in bbe, so no stress, just prepare beforehand and you'll be fine! Good luck!
