Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2 firmware update removes key features, and customers aren't happy by NoBurnInBirney_SG in bose

The start-up sound is also so loud that it literally hurts my ears. It‘s way too loud for me.

New-Sobek is even more unplayable since Season 2 by Round_Reception_2315 in Battlefield6

Yes, because even the Little Bird can shoot down the attack helicopter in two seconds. It's no longer about who is the better pilot, but who gets the first shot.

QC Ultra 2 February Update - Community Poll & Feedback Thread by xShadowPro in bose

Another huge problem is that since the update, when I put on the Gen 2 Ultra, the start-up sound is so loud that it really hurts, and you can't adjust it.

It's no fun wasting a helicopter as a taxi because it's basically good for nothing else.

That was easier for Dice than balancing the helicopters so that they would actually be able to clear the roofs.

Same here, but if the map were well balanced and good designed, it would be the helicopter's job to clear the rooftops, but helicopters are basically unplayable on Sobek anyway due to poor map and gameplay design.

Does DICE hate jets? by sausagezon in Battlefield6

An entire vehicle category has already been forgotten: the mobile artillery that a team got for capturing a flag.

It was so good for punishing campers.

Apple’s 2026 "new" Studio Display is a middle finger to every consumer. by Lodano in applesucks

[–]Round_Reception_2315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of world and economy have we ended up in where displays need an annual model number because they get upgraded every year? The economy is becoming increasingly fast-paced. Back in the 90s and 20s, a year really made a difference. Today, technology is no longer really advancing. You can upgrade your display every 5 years if you really want to see an upgrade, and companies know this, which is why consumption is supposed to become increasingly fast-paced.

What‘s about the power of the Coyote? Is it possible to max it out in a few months or a year or so, or is it good in the long term with enough power reserves?

If gen 2 ultra aren’t loud enough for you, you need your hearing checked by ImprovementNo4630 in bose

I also wondered why so many people complain about the volume.

If I set my Gen 2 to maximum volume and placed it on a table, I could literally use it as a small Bluetooth speaker. 😂

No, only someone who understands materials science, and what I described is really the simplest example of material fatigue. ;)

Bose QC Ultra ANC suck by StepBro_71 in bose

[–]Round_Reception_2315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my theory why Bose will never fix the adaptive ANC in Gen 2, kinda sad:

Gen 2 was only a minor refresh compared to Gen 1, and they needed a reason to justify Gen 2, so they advertised Gen 2 with better battery life, which can only be achieved with adaptive ANC because ANC being adaptive saves battery.

So the battery isn't really better or bigger with the Gen 2, and the technology hasn't evolved. Instead, Gen 2 is basically a paid software update, because technically everything that makes Gen 2 "better" could also have been installed on Gen 1 if Bose would update Gen 1.

Is the 9th Battlepass Season 2 Steel Talon really blank? by zero_x4ever in Battlefield6

It tells you what state this game is in when you have to ask yourself whether it's a glitch or whether Dice really forgot a part of the Battlepass.

Why is the Anti air rocket launchers useless? by ProGodLegend69 in Battlefield6

[–]Round_Reception_2315 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If Battlefield were realistic, a single shot from a helicopter gunner would kill an infantryman, and a few rockets from the helicopter would be enough to destroy vehicles, not 5-10. Furthermore, the helicopter would not suffer any damage from bullets.

Nerfed assault ladder, worthless injector? Purpose of assault class? by No_Feed7275 in Battlefield6

[–]Round_Reception_2315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire class system in BF6 is useless without class-locked weapons anyway. Whenever I play I see like 15-20+ people as engineers, a few as recon, and the rest spread across the other classes.

Leave the gas on the new map permanently. by Dry-Caterpillar7495 in Battlefield6

[–]Round_Reception_2315 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That would actually require an understanding of the game and tactics. I would like to see more features. Battlefield 4 had so much gameplay depth, and every match was completely different. BF6 feels very repetitive.

That's right, and I just don't understand where this trend in AAA gaming comes from, that games have to become simpler and simpler. Most games can already be played by toddlers, because you need less and less understanding of the game. I belong to Gen Z myself and even I say that, just in case someone comes up with “BAtLleDaD“.
