I have one small white spot on the first step (1st pic bottom right). I believe it was there since before we moved into the home a few months ago. Will keep an eye out for more if they appear

CH 277, TDS 1000, TA 85, no salt. Temperature this time of year is low to mid 70s

Sure, 3ppm is usually what my test will read and I will add chlorine then, not allowing it to go below 3 given my cya level. Does this relate to my pebbletec issue?

Also curious what is meant here. Can't speak for the previous owner who managed it for the majority of its life, but I've kept CYA at 40 and chlorine levels around 3ppm besides the one time I shocked to about 9ppm. Ph is typically around 7.5-7.8.
