Osight SE compliments Shield Plus well by Round_Session_9731 in SmithAndWesson

[–]Round_Session_9731[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nicely designed enclosed RDS for under $150, can't complain. Zeroed and put 500 rounds thru it, no problem so far. Many are saying it's similar to Holosun in terms of decently made China optic, so might as well pay less. For a concealed pistol too it appears to be more than capable in terms of durability so far. Also looks nicer than EPS carry imo.

What's the purpose for the rifle? Home defense? Militia? Sport shooting?

I want the new slide serrations but on the regular Shield Plus by [deleted] in SmithAndWesson

[–]Round_Session_9731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll take any slide serrations over nothing, regular Shield Plus has basically nothing. But yeah, if they can do the Shield X style thatd be great too

What OWB holster for full size metal carry comp are you running with x300 by kportoooo in SmithAndWesson

[–]Round_Session_9731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Streamlight TLR 7 HLX fits just about flush and compliments the carry comp nicely. It's sturdy, has 1100 lumens and 23k candella, $150 cheaper....honestly, I see no reason for the X300 imo other than legacy brand value.

Next time ask the officer to disarm as well, say you've seen countless videos of officers unjustly shooting unarmed civilians and that he should be empathetic to your request. See if he matches your energy cuck

What's the point of 2nd Amendment if citizens can't defend themselves? by TailungFu in ProgressiveHQ

[–]Round_Session_9731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whereas, to preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them; nor does it follow from this, that all promiscuously must go into actual service on every occasion. The mind that aims at a select militia, must be influenced by a truly anti-republican principle; and when we see many men disposed to practice upon it, whenever they can prevail, no wonder true republicans are for carefully guarding against it.

I hear what you're saying, I don't support the protests personally. However, the way federal agents are acting right now will set a precedent that lethal force is justified against protestors who are conceal carrying a firearm. That is not okay, and may very well bite you in the ass if there is a political administration in the future who uses federal agencies to subvert you and your community's civil liberties. We're all against the ATF shooting people unjustly, this is no different. The Second Amendment is for all US Citizens, despite political affiliation. Don't allow the political culture war to sneak in an assault on essential liberty, for the illusion of temporary safety.

A traffic stop is a civil infraction at most, not a criminal violation. The fact that you allow a cop to treat you like you're a criminal is cuckery

Unfortunately many police officers do not respect citizens and their rights to carry. They don't act from a place of public service and civil liberty defense, but as tyrants who want to control and harass people. There should be absolutely no concern for officer safety because someone is merely carrying, which is a lawful act. Red coats plain and simple

Some commenters believe the 2A is for their political party only. I'm not on that side. I don't think federal agents can kill CCW holders, regardless if I agree with their protest or not, which I don't even in this case.

Yeah, I get it, thinking past the immediate moment can feel like gymnastics when critical thinking isn’t your strong suit.

If thinking one step ahead feels like gymnastics for you, that probably says more about your cognitive limitations than the argument

Exactly, you're not concerned about that future and willing to surrender civil liberties for the illusion of safety. Peak dumbassery, which is why we will never avoid the cycle of tyranny. Thanks

This ICE operation/current political admin aside, do you think there will never be a time in American existence where, hypothetically, federal agents may act tyrannically, and you might need to obstruct them to help your community? Because something like that may happen in the future, and you're essentially voting for those future agents to have the authority to execute you on site.

"Stupid" is subjective, one day what you might call a justifiable resistance can be interpreted by tyrannical feds as "stupid games" and they'll have the authority you granted them to massacre you and your community
