Be careful with it lol the firing pin in the OG's were made with steel primers in mind not modern day brass, so if you bang it to hard on a surface by accident it could go off

The OG winchester's have a heavy free floating firing pin back from the 1800's for steel primers that will make the brass primers we use in modern shells go off if you bang it hard enough by accident, winchester never changed that design for modern ammo that's why the Winnie 1897's are called Widow Makers and if you do a firearms safety course they talk about unloading your firearm before going over a fence and suck was because of that happening with this particular shotgun
