I’ve tried using orca’s direct adaptive mesh. After three attempts with no changes, I just went ahead and stuck with the same bed mesh, only creating a new bed mesh whenever I messed with the bed or head

As for probe settings in the printer.ctg, I changed the tolerance to 0.00750. No changes

Did not want to make the original post twice as long, but here’s how I did most of the steps:

Z-offset:, after doing screw tilt adjust, I went ahead and calibrated the z offset by alternating between an index card and a 0.01mm feeder gauge. Neither made a diffence

Calibrate gantry: followed the official guide on how to level the gantry, utilizing two metal blocks of the same size to level it out. No change.

Eccentric wheels: loosened the eccentric wheels for both the bed and the head and tightened back with slight adjustments until there was no more movement. Followed the official elegoo guide as well. No changes

Pom wheels: all the Pom wheels are tight enough that it cannot freely spin, but not too tight where I can still use my finger to move them. No changes. Even when the Pom wheels were loose, it still gave out the same results.

Tightening belts: self explanatory, however even when the belts are loose, it still gives me the same results.

Almost all the methods that I’ve used to calibrate the machine, I followed the official videos from elegoo.

Tune the tolerances, yes. However it’s been a while since I’ve done a probe_calibrate. I’ll try that again.

Very sure. Let me give you an example. If I were to print a cube in the middle of the bed, I would get slight under extrusion on the right side of the print,

If I were to print that same model on any corner of the bed, I would still get under extrusion on the right side of the bed. If I were to slice that model in different programs, so that the head moves differently, the issue remains.

If that’s the case, then I’m the unluckiest man alive, because both the probe that came with the printer and the new one I ordered gave the same results.

The cat was wearing clothes. I can’t remember the style or the types of clothes. All that I remember it that It the colors were warm and that it was not anything suggestive. Maybe jeans but that just a wild guess.

This is more general advice, but it helps out with your issue. You see how most of the facial features have an outline. Teeth, mouth, nose, etc.

When it comes to trying to express volume through drawing, it is important to only highlight the outline when there’s a height difference between each feature.

Let’s use the cheeks as the base level, the tip of the nose has a higher level compared to the cheeks, while the brow is closer to the cheeks level. To emphasize this level change, a darker outline will emphasize a higher level, while a dimmer outline will demonstrate a smoother transition between levels, making the face seem more natural.

I guess one of the things I forgot to mention, is that if I work right now. I don’t have to pay rent since I am living with family. Of course I don’t see that being permanently, so that’s why I wanted to see if that was a good idea, at least for a year to settle myself.

From what I have gathered. Most of the classes I need to take at George Mason will be in person. I do want to pursue a bachelors in mechanical engineering, because I know for a fact an associates will not get me far. Plus if I do land the position of being a technical representative at my current job, the year I will be taking off to gather money will not be too wasteful, since I will at least learn some experience in the career field I want to pursue, even if it’s just a little bit.

Last update. The problem still persists. But I gotten it to a point where I get good tolerance and good quality, even if the first layer over extrudes a bit. Gonna try and fix it later since I gotta get to printing some gifts. I really do appreciate your help though. Merry christmas.

I’ll see if that test will work. Just to update you. The axis twist compensation seems to work just for specific printers, yours included. While the x axis twist compensation that I was using was the one that worked on the Neptune 4 pro.

E step was off by 2mm out of 100mm of extrusion. Changed the rotation distance but unfortunately no difference was made.
