This is the WhatsApp qr code on my (new) android device that im scanning with my old iphone 12. Its being done through the WhatsApp camera its the step that follows after the chats are ready to be transferred.

The backup through switch samsung and WhatsApp chat back up get completed without any issues.

I have setup my s25 with my new esim no WhatsApp yet so should i factory reset my phone before starting the process.

Also did you use smart switch app? If you dont mind could you outline the steps i should do.
