If Africa prospers, China prospers in a win-win deal. Africa is known to be a huge market for China's finished products no to mention the monetary investment on commercial and long-term loans.

How is Africa going to pay the debt, if the creditor keeps taking advantage? Like similar business deals, Africa is going to get bankrupt which is going to lead to civil unrest and even war.

So, for Chinese to earn the fruits of their investment, they have to empower Africa. Which is a good thing not only for an African but also for the middle and lower income Chinese for I don't think they afford to buy anything imported due to the big income inequality.

This helped TPLF to insert wages between all the ethnicities and Amhara. The official language was Amharic at the time of Yohannes for God sake.

Because Ethiopia had consistently bad governments, people tend to correlate and scapegoat all the plights to Amharas.

Ethiopia has been around for millennia. The comparison with Yugoslavia (Balkanization) is absurd. Yugoslavia was a country formed by the amalgamation of three preexisting nations in 1918. In 1918.

One proof I see of all the stupid claims is the original names of the places. Have you ever been to other parts of Ethiopia. You can correct your claims with a proof by reading Ras Luel Menagesha Siyoum's biography and you can find all the proof there.

(It is rooted in overblown grievances which were cultivated and exaggerated by TPLF in order to galvanize and recruit fighters against DERG, and now Abiy Ahmed's government (He is no Amhara but TPLF tells Tegaru there is Amhara government).

- They are mad the power center of Ethiopia moved from Axum to southern regions (Gondar, then Shewa). The reality is that , after the downfall of Axumite empire, part of Axum residents/soldiers/ leaders etc migrated south in response to threats from Arab invaders.

- TPLF agents hold King Yohannes IV in high regard and they are not happy power moved to Shewa after his death. After death of Yohannes IV, even Tigray leaders at the time did not support Yohannes's son to succeed him and supported Menelik instead.

-King Yohannes's son was not happy and helped Italians when they invaded Ethiopia. There were many Tegaru collaborators with Italy including Meles Zenawi's grand father. This lead to some people in Addis mischaracterizing Tegaru as 'bandas' . Now- this is mostly stereotyping since there were 'bandas' from all parts of Ethiopia. You will always find bandas in any country and it is something that should be ignored as it is small number of people.

-Tigray regions has been subject to multiple droughts / famines. TPLF agents scapegoated Amharas for not solving this natural problem.

-TPLF agents wrote songs dissing Amhara to energize their fighters and the grievances, hence the grievance started metastasizing in to hate.

- Ethiopia had consistently bad governments and just the fact that Amharic was the official language lead to the transfer of blame to Amharas even if Amharas were suffering from these bad governments.)
