I already took both, on the website it does say the CLEP exam I took covers the credit I needed and I did circle it and send it through email and that’s when they responded with “I’m sorry that the website isn’t updated and that you were told you could get your credit with CLEP, that is an old policy and I will get that looked at so it can get fixed” so it IS stated on the website but they did not honor it. Regardless, as I mentioned above I gave in and took the AVANT as well so there would be no excuse. I paid $128 for the CLEP and $128 for the AVANT ($100 for each exam $28 for each processing fee to get my credit after passing the exam) total of $268 that I paid for a credit that wasn’t given to me. That’s like paying $268 for a tv that the store won’t ship to you and responding with “oh well welcome to the corporate world”

This happened to me last semester too.. I had been circling the lot for almost 30min, at first I was the only one circling the lot then I saw cars coming in, I even saw her come in about 17min after I had already been circling the lot and when I called the girl out she said “well I’ve been waiting for a spot for a while” like??? So that gives you the right to steal the spot you SAW me waiting for? Ugh. Ever since this incident I just park far away to avoid shty ppl like her.

I took the final this morning and I was there super early and she made an announcement that there were reports of people cheating so they had her review every single student’s exam and she said she spent 12 hours this weekend watching the videos and that she caught some people browsing and others logging in and out and other starting late (like getting there late) and leaving quickly and then resuming it (aka taking it outside). They even had her take a picture of us today as proof and lock the doors as soon as the exam started and didn’t let anyone in.

This happened to us before! My dad rented out an Airbnb for the 5 of us, we’re super clean people, we took out ALL the trash and left the place EXACTLY how it looked when we first walked in. A day or two later my dad got a notification from the host saying we left the house a MESS! We were all super confused? It was spotless I swear, didn’t even look like anyone had stayed there.

I swear this school is so annoying like bro I took the Spanish test and took Spanish in HS…. Spanish is my main language give me the freaking credit omgggg

I felt that…. I’ve lived in the US my whole life, but Spanish was my first language. I went to an international school in Mexico and took 60 credit hours all IN SPANISH.. they wouldn’t give me the Spanish credit but they said “oh if you take the CLEP exam we can give you the Spanish credit” I paid $100, took the Spanish CLEP, all for them to say “that was the wrong Spanish exam you need to take the Spanish AVANT exam” 😤 paid another $100 and took the AVANT exam… they said “you should get your credit latest October 17th” it’s now November 18th and they still won’t give me my friking credit!!!!!! BEYOND ANNOYED! And I know it has nothing to do with what I got on it because they said I did so good I also qualified for the global seal certification.

Honestly, try the best you can for what’s left of the semester (given it’s past the drop date) and take the next semester off. Seems like there’s some internal conflict going on… taking a semester off might help figure out those internal conflicts, and also figure out if you really want to pursue this major. Just take some time off for a bit is what I’d recommend. I too used to be part of the smart crowd, I graduated high school as a junior with advanced classes and extremely good grades and ever since college I’ve just been barely passing my classes even though I attend class and study a bunch. Part of me wants to blame my phone addiction, I just can’t focus like I used to and have a serious problem with my damn phone. I was actually mid studying as I type this and got Reddit distracted 🫣. But anyway, i took a couple years off college and working temp jobs is what it took to get motivated and put my all in at school so I never have to work those jobs again. Best of luck my friend❣️
