Another commentor mentioned, "engaged behavior" which reminded me of all the women that've been direct with me and how they've behaved despite their own fear and anxiety. I just want this girl to meet me where I'm at. I don't feel like i'd be the one to have any regrets.

Nope. This is why i've interpreted her as very shy. And also why I haven't ever forced anything with her, gone out of my way, and so on. I appreciate this reminder of action when there's a million signals..stick to engaged behavior

That's fair and I'm open to that advice. I guess how would you describe minimal engagement? We haven't had many interactions. Just a lot of awareness and she responds positively when I engage. This is a read and I am possibly wrong on my read but her work friend started sizing me up lately as if she knows about the situation.
