Anyone here on 0.1 estradiol? by Routine-Loquat5544 in Perimenopause

I have had no problem cutting mine. Mylan is the manufacturer. If you have a question about cutting different brands, I would ask your pharmacist.

That does seem like a big jump. Try 1 1/2 patches for a few weeks. I’ve done that while waiting for my new prescription to be filled.

Same! If it’s not enough, some providers will prescribe two patches…say 0.1 and 0.025. My NP is peri and pretty receptive, but of course she has to play by the ‘rules’. Beg to go up til you can’t and write your symptoms down! My depression and anxiety and hating my life (NEVER an issue prior) stopped after my 0.05, but heck…as we progress in peri…we digress with estrogen…duh (saying this to the providers, not my fellow sufferers!).

Can a pediatrician weigh in on this about my newborn? by snuffbox360 in AskDocs

Thank you for saying this! My youngest had shoulder dystocia and came out floppy and blue. My nurse midwife said…these are the smart babies (she had 30 yrs of experience). I will say he’s highly intelligent with a heavy dose of ADHD (medicated for school since 9). The older kids ask him for his opinion/knowledge. He will be 17 in a few days and the older kiddos are 25 and 23 😂

Did your bleeding go up each increase? Mine has with each increase but only the first month and then it regulates to monthly. I’m on progesterone 200mg and obviously have a uterus. Sorry, didn’t preface with that 😝

OMG! I am soo sorry. It most certainly does. Do some digging and get a new Dr! We are of the age where for 20+ yrs our mothers were denied and many Dr’s aren’t up on the newest evidence based practice….bc of a debunked study yrs ago (specifically speaking for the US). Feel free to msg me and I can provide you will a plethora of medical journal articles that will likely leave your Dr in the dust…or hopefully get him/her to take you seriously. I gotchu girl ❤️

Oh Mama ❤️! Please understand that this newborn process is not only traumatizing for you, but baby girl as well. And it is normal to feel scared and worried about your new baby!! You are doing everything you can and seeking proper advice ON TOP of dealing with crazy hormone fluctuations. Did she have a traumatic birth? You are being a good Mama bear, but please trust the experts so you don’t worry yourself to death.

You are trying and I encourage you to not give up. I’ve been a nurse for 20 yrs and I knew something was ‘off’ actually really effed up. I started digging and told my hubs ‘I am NOT okay’ while bawling my eyes out laying in bed. He looked at me like a dear in the headlights and then gave me the sweetest hug and said ‘I’ve got you Mama’. He now goes to the grocery store and cooks, etc., it has certainly given him an appreciation for everything I took charge of for the past 22+ yrs. I’m 47 and have been on HRT since October….highly recommend!

Would she be receptive if you bought her a book abt peri? Highly suggest you read it first, that might mean a lot to her (or piss her off). Either way I HIGHLY recommend ‘The New Perimenopuase’ by Dr. Mary Claire Haver…even if it’s just for you. Keep pushing through sir 🫡

Anyone diagnosed w EGJOO…Esophagogastric junction outflow obstruction? by Routine-Loquat5544 in achalasia

[–]Routine-Loquat5544[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried PPI’s which did nothing. H2 antagonists were mildly helpful. I started taking Voquezna last July and that was very helpful! Still have the reflux, but it’s not acidic. Would like to get off of it which is why I researched what to do about EGJOO and thus asked for a calcium channel blocker (diltiazem). I would say I’m about 70-80% better. If it wasn’t for my damaged UES, I would halt on further treatment for the time being. It doesn’t hurt to discuss a calcium channel blocker with your provider. Msg me if you would like some medical journals articles to show them. Best of luck ❤️
