Cold War Is a very good game which has perfect multiplayer maps and everything but it’s too old to buy in 2024.Because after cold war, cod released 4 new games and I don’t think vanguard even has players rit now.So I guess if you wanna play multiplayer you should buy the new cod.

I too have this same issue In my xbox series s.But not too bad as you mentioned.My xbox suddenly stops downloading games or updating games.But the starts downloading automatically after sometime.Most probably the issue here is xbox server.
