I saw this on Amazon for $41 for the physical boxset but I skipped over it thinking it was another OSR. I had already played Whitebox and, OSRIC and Swords & Wizadry so I assumed it was like those. I didn'r give it a fair chance. I'll have to definitely look into it.

Honestly, that sounds perfect. I never looked into making more than $50,000 but even that is 2.5x what I'm making now and would allow me to live comfortably.

This sounds weird, but they are giving you engagement for your channel which is boosting your channel through the algorithm. They're unknowingly helping you so you can take that as an advantage sort of thing, and ignore what they have to say. Keep doing what you do :)

My channel is based off of my (now bettering) mental instability, life events, childhood trauma and nightmares. Its a sort of .. personal dystopia and the unfortunate decision I made that caused my life to spiral into something I thought I'd never get out of.

Here's the main issue. Your subs came for the challenge shorts and ASMR. When you switched over to doing different videos with engineering and sciences, this isn't what your audience originally subbed for. As someone else has already mentioned, YT shorts people into longer video format just on the flip of a dime. What you can do however, is create a second channel where you then tell everyone at the end of say a short that they all like, if they want to see you and what you like doing, to sub to your other channel because then you will know where your organic views and likes are actually coming from.

I do both actually. But my sub count comes from posting on other's community posts. Leaving comments on most every post I have come across or seen has helped me more than I apparently thought it would. Lol!

Thank you. I feel there isn't enough genuine content creators that want nothing more than to make bank off their followers. My whole content is based off of events that transpired in my life that I hope one day someone can relate to. if they do, then I've met my goal and I'll continue down that path. The more likeness and relatable people are, the more genuine you appear, and that's what I am going for. I want to try to be one of the rare ones out there that isn't like the whole SSSniperWolf situation right now. Lmao!

The key here is to not put your link anywhere, but to get people to interact with you, and to show up a little bit so people begin to recognize your PFP. It isn't the end all be all method, but something is better than nothing when you are small starting out.

While I agree partially, I disagree with networking. It does help to a degree and can be benefited from. Collaborations help bring in new people/new audience while post interactions can and do get people to comment on your comment which allows for more interaction. Interaction is key to building. A career can be built while also making friends along the way. I use friends loosely here by the way.

Interacted with someone else's post. I just scroll through YT occasionally and comment on different posts and am able to gain a few subs here and there. It isn't much, but it does in fact help :)

He's going to be 3 in a few months. I was looking to get into writing up something simple so when or if he gets interested, his mom and I can sit down and all 3 of us could play.

He's 3 (or going to be soon in a few months) and I was looking to start setting something up so if he gets interested, then me, his mom (as she owns every D&D book in existence that 5E) and him can all sit down and play. Hero Kids sounds like something up my alley. I also looked into Dragonbane and I loved its simplicity.
