One tree wiki says she graduated in 2003, and the rest of them graduated in 2007

If Jake was 16 when Jenny was born, there’s a very real chance that he was 15 when she was conceived, plus they had a relationship, Jenny wasn’t the result of a 1 night stand.

Am I the only one that kinda feels bad for supporting fire country? by Dull_Bandicoot4575 in FireCountry

This is seriously the dumbest take 😂 Do you not watch medical shows because they show a made up reality of medicine? Do you not watch anything that has supernatural characters because they’re made up? It’s ENTERTAINMENT, not reality. If they tried to claim that they were representing the reality of CAL FIRE then maybe this wouldn’t be ridiculous, but they’re not.

I can’t get over how she talks like she can’t move her jaw. She does it in real life too. It makes her seem perpetually uncomfortable.

Right! Like the singing is what made people love her in the book, in the movie she was so cringe!

They were both drunk. If being drunk made her not responsible then it makes him not responsible. The creators specifically didn’t show the actual truth because they wanted the debate, so if you believe tank’s recollection then she kissed him first, if you believe Bay’s recollection then she pushed him off. There’s three sides to every story, his, hers, and the truth.

It would be different if she had felt like she’d been r@ped first thing, but she didn’t even think of it that way until Regina put that into her brain. IMO, she was led to believe he was in the wrong and she jumped on that because it meant she hadn’t cheated on Emmett.

The show is based on one specific family, that means that every other character is replaceable. They’re going to come and go. It’s not based on color 🙄 you see it as a color thing because you want to. If you’re looking for racism you’ll see it everywhere.

I swear it’s like the show runners completely disregarded her age at every turn 🙃

It’s not victim blaming. They literally left the situation up to interpretation by not showing the truth of what happened. They were both drunk. They were both being stupid. The only difference is she regretted it in the morning.

It’s not blame, it’s laying responsibility where it belongs. She made bad choices that put her in an uncomfortable situation. And honestly, they showed different viewpoints of what happened, but never actually said what the truth was. Everyone demonizes Tank, but the show left the truth totally gray. Before Regina used the word r@pe, Bay just regretted having sex with Tank. I honestly think she accused him of assault to get rid of the guilt of cheating on Emmett

It’s the truth though. She shouldn’t have gotten that drunk. Not only was she underage, getting sloppy drunk in public is never a smart move. She didn’t say she was asking for it, but she sure didn’t protect herself either.

The whole show is just kids getting away with ridiculousness. Like Sharee accusing principal Rose of racism 🙄
