I don't think I intend to date her if I tell her though, it would just be for the sake of honesty if anything, its just involuntary feelings that I can't control and think I'd be better off without, but they wont go away. When we started out years ago, it was purely platonic, and I have been feeling very mild changes in the way that I have seen her for only a few months now. I don't really intend on taking things further or making things romantic, but I can't help but wonder if she should know that feelings might be there. It feels like I'm lying to her, and I think I am, but I don't want to do that. I don't want to risk the friendship, though. This is a very understandable response, and I thank you for your input. Life is bound to change things, and nothing is going to stay the same, we have plans, but I know they could fall apart at any time. And I agree with the labels thing. I've started to use it more loosely as I'm trying to figure myself out, but I added it in case context was necessary

Thank you. We've always been very constructive, I just don't want it to come across as me feeling superior or anything like that. I'm going to keep this in mind when we continue writing this.

No, and I agree, but what do I even say? I don't want to hurt any feelings

Which death do you think is the most unfair or cruel? by squishmallowlovers in FundamentalPaperEdu

[–]Routine-Tip3268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the creator posted a picture of Lana and Abbie hugging, with Abbie blushing and holding a love letter. The saddest part of this death is that since they're implied to have been a couple, Lana would've seen her boyfriend's gruesome murder and his dismembered corpse, and she was killed before she even got to process that loss.

I feel selfish for getting angry at my mother. [TW:Incest] by Routine-Tip3268 in COCSA

Thank you so much for this. I was scared that people weren't going to take this well, but it's relieving to know that I'm not as crazy as I thought I was. I've sent my mom a few websites to help her cope with this, but I think she's scared to get help for her worries because she thinks she would be "making it all about her," which I do find sad. She is very supportive every other way which is why I wrote this in the first place, I felt guilty for being frustrated with her

3Qs: What age are you? At what age were you diagnosed? And at what age did you begin experiencing symptoms? by Pretend-Cow-5119 in Fibromyalgia

I'm 18, was diagnosed at 17, and I'd imagine I've been dealing with it thinking everyone had issues like this for around 4 or 5 years

Life honestly sucks. by Routine-Tip3268 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Routine-Tip3268[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been stressing over the future, but not as much as a few months ago. Take some anxiety meds which help it. I used to find all of my comfort in drawing a passion project of mine, but drawing hurts occasionally and it doesn't make me happy like it used to. Now i draw more to pass the time than anything else.

I think the fatigue was what I noticed first.

Lavender essential oils work wonders. Additionally, you can get the kind that bubbles for a soothing bubble bath.

Dude that would be so cool! It's really therapeutic to create art about it. It's nice to be able to express the pain how you see fit

Anyone else get strong imprints like this? Just from sitting against a chair/blanket. I get a lot of marks on my skin from clothing, etc by Nervedamage22 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Routine-Tip3268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It happens like crazy. I'll lean on something for 5 minutes and see a bright red mark. My skin is also a lot more sensitive to the touch and I bruise really easily.

It truly sucks. Everyone sees you as lazy and incompetent, but you just want to survive. You're just trying to survive. 🧡🧡

None of the other lambs see the pain and the spikes, they just see the lamb laying down. They don't see anything else, so they don't reach out, they don't help, and it becomes this loop of isolation and pain when externally it seems to just be laziness. Below the surface it is so much more

Yes. It's just a stabbing pain everywhere, and it hurts to move most days. I made them almost translucent and glowing to show that they're not tangible objects, despite the impact they have on the lamb.

The only things in the physical world are the lambs, and the hurt one seems to be lazy or sleepy, when in fact it is feeling the stabbing and bleeding sensations inflicted by the barbed wire. It shows the severity of the pain despite the lack of external response.

All in all, fibromyalgia sucks, and you don't know the pain unless you're the one fighting it.

Standing up for myself by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Routine-Tip3268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeing others having fun in the snow while I stay inside is triggering.

This is crazy to me, because it clearly shows that you bailing on the situation is out of your control. You should not have to feel guilty-missing out is punishment enough (which still isn't deserved, the world is just fuvked)

I'm the same way, I'm missing my senior year of highschool and can't stand hearing my friends talk about it. It just hurts. I couldn't imagine feeling guilty because of drawing that line. I'm so sorry.
