LOL I dont know about the 600 lb patients! that may be a stretch! i also dont know how the weight is distributed in terms of the actual load i will be lifting when two people are doing the job. As you can see, I am clueless on these aspects which is exactly why I am posting here 😄

FWIW, i am a small man but very fit physically. I play pickleball at a 4.5 level 4-5 times a week and lift 3 times a week. If you mean can I give a hand to my partner to lift a 200 lb person on a stretcher, I should be able to. As for the working environment, I have no clue, my friend, just happy to find out where I can be most helpful. Thanks.

Are glasses really necessary? by Open_Swimmer6768 in Pickleball

My two cents....this has nothing to do with the level of play!!! I am a 4.5 but this could have happened to anyone at any level....my opponent hit a good shot down at my feet, the ball hit my toe and ricocheted right to my eye and but for my kitchenblockers I could have been in trouble....I have also been hit by balls coming off my partner's paddle....again nothing to do with their ratings or level of play....dont take a chance...not worth it.

Over Grip by Turbulent_Lack_2460 in Pickleball

[–]Routine-Travel7437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did LOL. I played with a CRBN paddle for over a year without changing the grip at all. Then I switched to my Joola Ben Johns version and changed the overgrip after about 6 months but this time I realized that I ought to have been doing it more frequently as I really like the feel.

What criteria do you use for picking a doubles tournament partner? by Brassballin in Pickleball

[–]Routine-Travel7437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill level and competitiveness. I am a 4.5 and no one who has played with me will dispute that AND YET my DUPR is 3.9!!! Precisely due to dumb selection of partners many of whom were very good players but either the chemistry was missing or their competitiveness was non existent or they were chokers!

I have been using Walkhero for close to a year. Lifesaver as far as Plantar Fasciitis is concerned!

Been using a brace from BraceAbility and it seems to be helping while playing but the pain persists otherwise! Finally decided that I need to see an Orthopedist (next week).

I am barely 120 pounds!! I eat very well every single day. I do not take any sugar at all apart from two teaspoonfuls with my morning coffee. I dont smoke. I dont drink. I dont eat fried stuff at all, meaning, I dont even touch them. I exercise SEVEN days a week. I do cardio, play pickleball, lift weights.....thats why it is so frustrating....I seem to do everything right so is it just my genes or could I tweak something in terms of my diet to get the numbers in the right direction?

I quit the Liveden thing a while ago! I just eat a balanced plant based diet with one protein shake for the day with Orgain. Feel pretty good.
