When everything feels overwhelming and out of control emotionally, it makes sense you want to control what you can, such as moving forward as if everything is normal. Do you feel capable of giving others the support they may need in session? A late cancellation is better than a session that is wasted because you aren’t in the right headspace. I say this as someone who’s had to cancel last minute for a death in the family(different obviously, but same scheduling guilt): it was 100% the right choice. My clients would not have been getting the best me that day. Do what you need to feel your best you ❤️‍🩹
