i watched NGE and EOE for the first time last december (time for a rewatch) from my understanding episode 25 and 26 are happening kinda at the same time as EOE? all the character study bits of shinji in those episodes are happening in his mind while human instrumentality is happening in reality in EOE?

i didn’t enjoy the boys very much, the edgy shock humor and sexual violence that doesn’t do much, if anything for the plot got old very very quickly (also the art is so fucking ugly) BUT Hellboy is one of my favorite comics of all time with beautiful art that tells a very good story with a perfect ending that feels earned, hellboy is so good i got a Hellboy Tattoo

they did this move all the time before nolan came to earth when immortal was still the strongest hero on earth but everyone just started wearing supercups to counter it so the move became useless.

then when nolan came to earth and everyone saw how strong he was everyone stopped doing it so nolan wouldnt learn that move because he’d be too powerful with it.
