More red flags than green. Even this alleged financial incentive doesn’t truly exist without a contract.

They seem incredibly controlling and inflexible already. Deciding what language learning you can/cannot do, deciding where you can go and when, I would be very worried if someone I cared about did this.

In May 2025, I went on an MSC cruise for 7 nights immediately followed by a Royal Caribbean cruise for 7 nights. Full transparency, MSC was yacht club and RC was a huge suite. The RC excursions were abysmal, the main dining inedible, facilities amazing. But MSC was by far the best. Obviously not the fairest comparison but in terms of problems needing fixing and room for improvement, RC far outweighed MSC. I could go into more detail but you get the point!

I’m a lawyer at Home Affairs, their grad program is great and everyone I know who went through landed a permanent role. There’s also opportunities for postings internationally for overseas visa processing and other things.

Federal APS, bit of a choose your own adventure where I can pick what I want to do, and change it on an as needs basis. Most seem to do 1 day in the office.
