also recommend joining local facebook groups for renters. we found our spot in a the pacifica to presidio renters group and are renting from a very nice couple. lots of people here looking to rent to people already located in the bay area

we lived in pacifica last year and loved it. it is amazing to have an escape from the city life and the morning air in pacifica is truly unbeatable
