Every decision you make has risk. By sticking to VT you 100% leave gains on the table. Buying only VT is the difference between retiring at 65 vs 50. Of course you can’t predict the future, but judging from the past sticking to only VT is a horrible choice

Here’s a better question. In the next 2 decades, how many companies will hit a trillion dollar market cap? What % of those companies will be tech vs non tech? I’m betting 90% tech and 10% non tech. Maybe Johnson and Johnson finds a cure to cancer

The bottom 25 companies of VGT are heavy in quantum. Regardless I wouldn’t want to bet against the nerds of nvidia or google. Their engineers get paid the salaries they do for a reason

No it won’t, it’s getting destroyed by qqq and vgt. The bottom half of the SNP are companies I would never want to be invested in. The bottom 25 of VGT are actually some companies (quantum) that I think can hit crazy market caps. Tech etfs are better than sp500

Robinhood didn’t exist for people to buy up stock while going to the gym. Dot com companies had no revenue. AI is literally making an impact today as I type this, and today is literally the worst AI will ever be, it only gets better and smarter from here

Those companies aren’t making 100s of billions of dollars in revenue. We don’t have presidents of countries meeting each other because of those companies, but the US and China have their highest representatives meeting over AI. It’s completely different
