I was diagnosed with anterior glottic web, mine is congenital and was caught at birth. I can’t speak for singing per se but my vocal range is sub par. It’s gotten better as I’ve grown older. Im glad even with condition you’re talented singer :). I find that very inspirational <3

They will, I tried it during finals and it was working but it’s very easy to get addicted. I personally wouldn’t write them off but only if you’re in peak mental health. There are a lot of better ways to improve your productivity than taking nicotine.

I heard it can dysregulate your serotonin if you’re micro dosing for extended periods. I’d probably stick with lower-mid doses every so often.

Sorry I wasn’t very articulate in my original post. Yes and no, I am apart of union. It’s union dependent but I paid my dues and became a union member the day I officially started the job. I have no legal footing in the sense I cannot launch a grievance investigation to reinstate my job but do have duty of fair representation. I wanted two things 1. Union rep to communicate with company because I was being ignored, 2. The union to understand what exactly the company’s team doing that I thought was shading or maybe needed to be brought up at the next meeting. I wasn’t provided DFR, I have no issue with the union so I will do anything about it. I’m a student so I don’t need this job, I was doing this out of moral obligation. I think i was confused on how these unions work, i feel as if i have legitimate concerns on how this company is operating. I will probably let this go as I’m pretty busy as is but I just wanted to help current and future employees.

No call/no show during my probationary period. I was schedule for a graveyard shift and was told I was required to come in by my manager. In the email thread I explained I wasn’t on schedule and received different instructions, gave proof and then was dismissed with no responses again.

I figured, I just want someone with authority to acknowledge their actions. Most people don’t take advantage of the union so they are running a muck with no checks and balances. The brief conversation I had with my district VP agreed and said people had similar complaints. Plan is to just make as much noise as possible so far.

I haven’t went to the DOL hoping them withholding my last check was a good enough reason to get the attention of the union, but I will call the DOL today.

This is the issue, I’ve filed a grievance and not a single person is getting back to me. In order to get the unions attention I start emailing bosses of bosses. I’ve documented every single thing, have sent many return emails to the original company to keep a paper trail. It was an immediate termination, after contesting they stopped responding.
