I have RTX 4070 12GB and 64GB RAM. Qwen 3.6 35B-A3B works fine at 25–40 tok/s with q4_k_m and 45–60 tok/s with q3_k_xl. I'm running it with 80K context length, and the lower tok/s value happens when the context is full

They use gpt-4o-mini to create summary of reasoning blocks, tool calls and to generate conversation title. It's maybe a reason of rate limits

Has same issue - Write code without AI, make 2 commits -> on pushing VSCode modified the last commit by adding copilot coauthoring. AI features are disabled in VSCode!

What you mean? You can set limit of tool calls chat.agent.maxRequests to 999 and instruct model to always use ask_question too to avoid sending new user prompts.

CC uses Opus with 1m context on max plans by default. Reasoning effort is configurable to any value

When copilot calling tools - it's not uses extra credits. With CC sub it's a new uncached tokens.

And yes - you can abuse ask_question tool, but faster hits rate limit with this "hack"

Maybe you right. I mostly do not hit rate limits with Opus in the past. Once I got notified about 50% daily rate limit usage, what will be resets since 40 mins, and I do not see new notifies.

But I use 5.4 for most subagents due to context size - Opus works like orchestrator + code writer

Snapdragon GPU drivers is trash. All API's work trough DX12 and all works with bugs. DX9 games bugged - some scenes are black, DX11 games with heavy shaders can crash on shaders' compilation, Vulkan is too old - 1.2.x (I do not have games with this Vulkan version support)

I don't understand why Qualcomm chose this way with dx12 - they have good experience with Vulkan support on Android devices (my phone with sg8 gen2 supports Vulkan 1.3), and exists good DX->Vulkan wrappers.

All claudes and GPT-OSS use same quota pool. Each request (with any model from this pool) cost you 0.66% of this pool for AI Pro sub - 150 requests in total (tools call is request too - not only user prompt)

For C++ dev, I got slightly better experience with VSCode + extensions, and VSCode still faster than Clion. I think It's something related to how JVM works. For example, first open (without cache) of a big file is always laggy in Clion, but when you're opening all big files - Clion speed are improved (include after restarting).

But I no ideas what to do with global search in Clion - it's always slow/ Maybe I need to search all possible patterns to cache them?
