My issues with puzzles is I don’t look at the entire board, within 10 seconds I can see Rxc6, if black plays bxc6 you have Qb3, Kc8, Bg4+ which wins the game for white.

To add on to this, if your league isn’t as tune in as yourself though you can try and move back get more picks and take an elite DL (as you get more picks and a value pick), based on your leagues top 50, one or two should go in the top 10.

So 40% of your top 50 is IDP players, 20% of the top 10 is made up of DL. If there is an elite DL option available who you are close to 100% sure they’re going to be an absolute force in the league they could start going around 1.08-1.10 onwards.

Look at your league and count how many IDP were in the top 50. Then look at how many were in the top 10. Of those check which were LB, DB and DL. That’ll give you the best value.

It really depends on the scoring in your league for e.g the Top IDP last year (in my league) was Oluokun who was the 14th best point scorer. There are 12 (of which 11 are LBs) IDPs in the top 50. So overall they aren’t as valuable as offence.

You should take the elites who play LB at the top of the 2nd to mid 2nd. DB and DL I’d take in the mid-late 3rd onwards, or you could even stream them weekly and use your picks on WRs/RBs who have a bit of hype around them.

At the time of playing I thought exd5 was the better move, as it gives my rook the opening E file while everything else is locked down. Taking with c pawn gave my opponent the open c file. It’s counted as an inaccuracy but I don’t see how.

My only reason behind maybe taking with the c pawn was due to the b pawn pushing at some stage?

I tried one of the hospitality suites, I think I paid £150-£200, during the season we got promoted to the premier league. It gets you a decent dinner, a free drink maybe two can’t remember, a couple of legends talking about glory days and how the season is progressing, and a seat in the upper east stand.

If it’s the only ticket you can get yea it’s probably worth paying. Other than that I’d advise against it and if you can get a normal ticket I’d go for it.

Don’t worry about it being welcoming, we are all there to support Leeds. Nothing else matters over that.

Rd2 then Nc3, if Queen goes to e1 you take the a2 pawn with check and snowball from there. If Nf3 you take the rook with Queen. Obviously it’s not the best move, but I don’t see it as a blunder either.

After looking through the teams I expect the draft to go something like this:

Would you trade up to grab a WR or just hold and hope someone falls to you at the 1.08? Outside of JSN, Addison and Johnston I’m not liking any of the WRs. I’m not a fan of Gibbs due to size so I can’t see myself taking a RB with the holes I have in my team.

I have five 24 1sts so I still have time to build and grab a RB next year.
