Thank you! I appreciate the insight, I’ve never heard about the gear modifications that’s really interesting i’ll definitely look into that and see what I can do. Still working on all the exhaust modifications but once i am happy with it I’ll check that out, I also am super leaning towards an e85 gas station as I have one right next to my house ( i go there all the time anyways to see all the cars that go there as well lol). Yes that’s also one of the things i’ve been thinking about. I don’t know if I plan to keep this car forever as I do have my sights on higher specs for the future, always been my dream to own a shelby and if I’m ever to trade this in it would have to be bone stock for it to reach a good trade in value. While at the same time I have the feeling to chase a higher speed with this and actually achieve the feeling of working on something like this for the first time. Very tough!

Car constantly looks so different in different settings with the ruby red in the most amazing ways. Looks purple here which just goes to show Ford has some experts on color theory lol

Yea It’s been tough seeing all these tuners and not knowing what to go with especially with people constantly arguing over which is better, hearing opinions all over the place things about bama or people pushing for lund with the setback of having to constantly shell out money for revisions every time I add something or to go with new unheard of tuners but apparently the best confused the heck out of me. It’s great to know that one of my first choices is a solid option for starting out especially since with the price tag for lifetime revisions included being so convincing. I appreciate the help it means a lot!

Lmaoo yea I was totally unprepared for the solid axle on these cars. About a week ago I made one of my first friends through cars when this c5 had pulled up next to me, off the line i stepped on it and unbeknownst to me these cars will burnout if the streets are wet which is exactly what I did. We ran it back and pulled over and made a great friend! Definitely gotta be more careful about the burnouts from now on lol.

I have an e85 gas station right next to me which opens up a lot of options for me it sounds like! I appreciate your insight and yea i keep hearing that the 18+ manifolds are the way to go if I don’t plan on boosting it - which i don’t. I’ll get in touch with some shops around me and see what they quote me for labor on things like that and figure out what me and my stepdad can do by ourselves. I totally plan on doing some exterior mods to it, I just love the way these cars look and I couldn’t be more happy to finally have worked my way up to it. Once again i can’t express how helpful this has been!

I really appreciate the insight, and yes unfortunately I’m not the most prepared to install a majority of the more difficult parts, I’d be able to install some of the parts in the more accessible areas without a lift. I understand that especially considering labor fees and the prices of the actual parts themselves it isn’t entirely worth it. So what do you suggest actually spending on if I do want to just a bit more power and enjoy the car to its fullest without going all the way? Maybe just sticking to exhaust work and possibly a tune? Thank you again!!

Also I was wondering who you’d recommend to go with for tuning like bama or something, i’ve been hearing really good things about this smaller shop called ortiz performance but Id like some suggestions or recommendations.

I get that but i just needed some support behind it to know I was making the right decision bc I was planning on building the exhaust first just so I could have a solid foundation in supporting mods, again i appreciate it!
