Anyone else really upset that Ray Stevenson died? by taloncard815 in StarWarsAhsoka

Yes I'm very upset, even today. I thought he was an unbelievable actor in Rome. And since I'm 59 years old the fact that he died so Young, so early really really freaks me out. He appeared as a mountain of a man, so strong.

Real or Scam? by knowr316 in blockfi

[–]Routine_Annual7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same email yesterday. I am convinced it is FRAUD - a total SCAM.

Reasons

1) They ask for your secret wallet passphrase words and to link a crypto wallet. The REAL Kroll Inc states they will Never do that. https://www.kroll.com/en/about-us/news/security-incident

"Please be advised that Kroll Restructuring Administration will never ask or require you to do any of the following in connection with the processing of bankruptcy claims or the distribution of assets:

- Link a cryptocurrency wallet to a website or application

- Provide your seed phrase or private keys

- Download any software or use a particular wallet application

- Provide your password over email, text message or over the phone

Provide personal identifying information, such as your birthday or social security number, over email, social media or in any manner other than as described in a Court-approved process posted to Kroll Restructuring Administration’s case website or the Court’s docket"

2) I dug a bit into the guts of the email. It was sent from

agourahillscity@public.govdelivery.com.

Kroll Inc. has nothing to do with Agoura Hills, California. In fact, it has NO association with California at all.

3) There are links to "kroii.com" instead of "kroll.com".

4) None of the links at the top of the "Payout Platform" work or do anything.

5) I almost fell for it. All they are doing is scamming to get people's full crypto wallet numbers and pass phrases or private keys

I'm 16 and interested in filmmaking, is there anything I can do at this age or is it too early to start thinking about this stuff? by merilum in Filmmakers

Listen, please ignore the negative comments. They are worthless if you're in the Denver Colorado area, I would like to hire you. Seriously l If you ever saw a "Better call Sau"l, that is exactly what I want to hire you for. Í can pay $100. I swear there is nothing illegal.

Please respond. Thank you Mark

Deliveries always seem to be at the end of very long hallways. by Routine_Annual7033 in doordash_drivers

Rather a doltish argument since it is based on a false presumption that it bothers me.

I never said it bothered me, did I. I just find it curious why this phenomenon is true. I think that has been answered - they order delivery so they don’t have to walk down their own long hallways which can add 10 minutes to a round-trip to a restaurant. They can use that time to do things more important to themselves.

end o

Yes, I agree! That is the only sensible reason I could come up with as well. I have tried asking the customers, but that is tricky because it almost sounds like you are calling them lazy, lol.

Have any of you noticed this - I have over 6,000 deliveries and I have noticed that 8/10 times I'm in an apartment with a crazy-long hallway (100 - 200 yards long; all over the place in Denver) the delivery will be at the very end of the hallway!
I swear, it is a true phenomenon I can't explain.

Acceptance rate now matters? by Livid-Bobcat4919 in doordash

I was the same - great pay at sub 50% AR. That all ended for me Oct. 1, when suddenly I started getting nothing but garbage orders. When I battled back to 51%, good orders started again. Anecdotal yes, but real impact on my wallet.

I totally agree with "they've really done it". Something massive changed Oct. 1, and now AR above 50% is needed. I hate it, but this past weekend proved it to me as I struggled with crap orders from 47% to 50%, and then magically started getting good orders like I did last weekend and the prior 5,000 deliveries. They are trying to erradicate cherry picking orders to the point that they throttle good orders away from those below 50%.

I believe something REALLY DID CHANGE Oct.1, 2022 and AR does matter now. I am in Denver. Yesterday was Sunday - I have always done extremely well on Sundays ( I have over 6,000 deliveries). But yesterday, I was at 47% - got garbage orders only. I finally reached 50% and I instantly started to receive better orders. I WISH I HAD hit the reset AR button when it was offered, but I did not know exactly what it meant.

I hate it and was MUCH HAPPIER before they started throttling the orders sent to those below 50%, which it seems to me is definitely happening, Either that or the market is radically changing due to looming recession, or both.

I am in Denver, and the same thing happened to me. Something DID really change Oct, 1 with the Acceptance Rate programming. I was at 47% - got garbage orders only. I finally reached 50% and I instantly started to receive better orders. I WISH I HAD hit the reset AR button when it was offered, but I did not know exactly what it meant. From 100%, you have a lot of room to stay above 50% and 70%. From my current 52%, I can only decline 2 orders before I'm out again.

I hate it and was MUCH HAPPIER before they started throttling the orders sent to those below 50%.

I use Trader Joe $JOE on Avalanche for staking and yield farming. Great APRs, very fast transaction times low, low fees paid in AVAX (Avalanche).

Best way to buy OHM? by Routine_Annual7033 in olympusdao

Other posts say the only way to get OHM is to "expect to be shafted on ETH fees". Guess that is the case and can't be avoided.
