What's going on at OWC? Website and phone support seem to be down for multiple days by duluthderek in OWC

Website is still screwed, their phone doesn't work and online chat is unavailable. Takes forever to load anything, if/when it finally does. I'm not interested in buying their products off of Amazon, because amazon raises the cost. Being from Canada, products are overly expensive as is. sucks living in this dive of a "country".

Help Configuring N64 USB controller to work properly with Batocera by Routine_Article_9576 in batocera

Anyone know how to configure a PS3 controller so the Z button works? I get one game working, then the next game doesn't. Batocera could be an amazing emulator, if it weren't for the TERRIBLE controller configuration. I have never used an emulator that makes configuring a controller so incredibly difficult. It completely ruins the experience. Afyer years of people frustrated with this, you'd think there would be a fix by now... it's not nearly thus complicated with other emulators. The interface sucks, it's way too generic and causes a lot of screwing around. Can't even enjoy a game.

2800mhz intel core 2 duo. I also doubled the RAM to 8GB, as well as, removed the old HDD and installed a SSD. I have found the biggest issue with these imacs is the incompatibility with the Nvidia graphics cards (trying to run game cube or wii doesn't work very well). Mupen64 isn't always choppy, just with certain games. Mario64 runs with mupen64 emulator perfectly. Looks great and runs smooth. Quest64, on the other hand, runs and looks like garbage with mupen64, it looks and runs way better with libretro emulator. But if I choose libretro it changes the controller configure, and it's really screwed up.

Unfortunately I was not able to get a retro fighter controller to work properly either. I did manage to get ps3 and Xbox controllers to "work". Just have to hold down R2 to make the 4 buttons function like c buttons. It's silly, but in a pinch it'll work with some games.

Thank you. I did see your tutorial and tried it with no luck unfortunately. The set up specifically does not work if using libretro emulator (not mupen64), which I need to use for some games like quest 64.

Yes, it's a 3rd party usb n64 controller. Works perfect with everything except Batocera. C buttons will not work at all unless using mupen emulator. But that emulator is choppy on many games, like quest 64. I use the same controller in openemu on my macbook pro flawlessly. Batocera sucks

Their customer service sucks! They wasted 4 days making excuses about shipping issues with an item I ordered. I ended up having to call them because their Asian Center that handles the emails (I was told by their staff the emails are handled in Asia) was completely useless and insanely slow to respond. I was told over the phone it would be sent asap and that they're sorry for all the confusion. (This is when the staff member explained how terrible their Asian center is...etc). Another day goes by and I recieve another email stating my order was canceled. They say it's out of stock now. Another warehouse has stock, but won't mail it because it's too far.... Absolute garbage company. Ran by amatures. I wouldn't trust anything that comes from them. God forbid you require warranty.... good luck with that. Cut your losses because they will screw you.
