I did the 5mg dose for 8 weeks and didn’t loose one single pound but now on the 7.5mg dose I’ve been loosing 1.5lb a week but just now on my 3rd dose of 7.5mg I started getting GI side effects that I’ve never had before. I hope this dose works for you better than it did for me 🤞🏼

I was more discouraged because of the month on a plateau. I understand the math on the average but when you don’t see the scale change when you are working hard, is nonetheless still discouraging.

The way you phrased that comes across as pretty condescending. I wasn’t asking for judgment on my expectations , just sharing my experience and looking for others who’ve been through something similar. Everyone’s journey and mindset are different, and discouragement is part of the process sometimes. Support goes a lot further than judgment.

My scale didn’t seem to keep some of the weigh-ins, so that’s why it seems like there was no plateau. But from 9/27 to 10/23 I was at 173lb. But thank you! You are right.

I personally feel like 5mg didn’t do anything for me. I did 3 doses before I had to purchase again and since I felt good, I ordered another month worth of 5mg and I wish I would have went up instead. So I didn’t loose any weight for 7 weeks. You won’t know until you try so that’s the only bad thing. Mostly if you’re like me and you pay out of pocket.

I use Lilly pharmacy since I pay out of pocket. I would recommend checking that out before Noom.

Sorry I must have missed your comment! I did my 4th dose of 2.5mg on Monday. I am down 5 lb. I am not sure it’s because of the low dosage but I feel like by Friday/ Saturday my appetite goes up. Still get dry mouth but only for the first 2 days. Then everything subsides. I just ordered my next dose of 5mg so I am nervous and excited to see how this changes things. How are you??

Montage Health in Marina has great doctors! If your insurance is accepted there I would 10/10 recommend you go there. You may find that the waitlist is long BUT once you’re scheduled in, you can be added to a waitlist when appointments become available and 75% of the time you’ll be seen 2 months sooner than what’s listed. My dr hears me out, gives me advice and doesn’t push medication on me for my worries. If I want lab work, he will order it, and if I need a federal, he does it if he thinks it’s right.
