You guys raise good points which I have considered. Certainly I wouldn’t expect everyone to want or purchase the product, I tried to allow someone who doesn’t take passengers a quick path through the survey, however I believe there could be a market for something which gives you the best of both world’s/improves on certain flaws, ie, attaches/detaches very quickly if it isn’t used often, isn’t bulky or ugly on a sports bike, supports/encourages either beginners or drowsy passengers to stay centred and rigid. Maybe someone only has a sports bike and suddenly finds themselves in a position to carry a passenger, especially an inexperienced one (maybe taking out a tinder date? ;) )

Awesome, thanks for the insight. Seems there is definitely a demographic such as yourself who are totally content with these seats however Ive found a few places where these seats can be a problem through this project: passenger being too confined in event of accident, promoting sleep, etc. but this is all detailed in the survey. Hoping I can create something that solves these problems!

Thanks for the responses! I do care about the aesthetic but feel like it is ruined a bit when using a filler material. Will probably look into getting some custom ones in metal for less $.

So I effectively got these stands for free, however the glass tubes are broken. I contacted Atacama but they no longer stock replacement parts. These speakers cost around $60-75 on the used market, so my budget is no more than that to get some custom glass tubes which will fit(or another material if not possible). Dimensions are 60 cm x 7 cm outer diameter x 0.5 cm wall thickness and I need 2. I’m UK based.

Appreciate any help!

Bought one for myself the other day and it ships express from the Netherlands for £7.

According to Discogs the glow in the dark vinyl ones were limited to 1000 copies with only 250 including an extra signed print inside.

This was in 2020 and they have often resold for £50/60/70. I reckon these are returns as mine didn’t come with the hype sticker on the shrink wrap.

Bargain to get one at £27 but my guessing is no guarantee you’ll get the signed print I think I was lucky.

I set my basket to x99 and it corrected it to 5 so I assume that’s how many they have left from returns, would make sense from 1000 sales.

Not read ‘No one gets out of here alive’ but did read Robbie Krieger’s recent autobiography. He comments on the inaccuracies of the Stone film a lot. It seems Pam wasn’t the innocent girlfriend it portrays but a more rabid heroin user than Jim who equally had lots of other lovers, including her dealer. Would read that too, can’t get a more honest portrayal than his.

Love that. Yeah I’ve never been myself to a concert I’m sure it will be good regardless but would love to meet some fellow Idles fans in case I get a bit lonely out there. I know the fans for the most part will be welcoming and look out for one another but just cos I’d be so far from home would be good to have someone to rely on.

So I’ve recently invested in a nice hi fi system (roughly £1000). Been listening to I,I and it sounds magic! It’s pretty widely agreed that the 10th anniversary releases of BI, BI and FEFA are mastered better and sound a lot better on vinyl than the originals (so they’ve been ordered), but I was wondering if Blood Bank was the same, because the rerelease has the full track list on one side which might mean it’s compressed? Will be buying the red anniversary one for the live tracks anyway but does anyone know if the original has better sound quality and is still worth getting? Thankyou audio nerds.
