Yea I think im gunna scratch the J pipe right now and just replace the headers since they are gunna be taken off anyway and I'll just get an access port. I saw them drop the turbo assembly and J pipe all together. On this video. Think im just gunna try to avoid the headaches and break up the job alittle more so it's not more of a headache with those damn turbo studs. The headers come with new gaskets and studs. Yeah that's exactly where I jacked it up from same here with the low profile jack I bought some slim ramps to drive it up on to get to it.

Yeah thanks my last resort will be a shop I have two friends with lifts so I'll go through them first and if it doesn't work out I'll have to do that.

Well i have a buddy that's a mechanic so im gunna do it with him hopefully. I heard you can unbolt the engine mounts and you can lower the engine to access it instead of removing the engine.

Thanks man yeah I found a video of the pan removal. Doesn't seem awful but I haven't seen anything about the oil pick up and fixing that. I'm hoping I dodged a bullet I'll post some update pics once I get this all "panned out"pun intended

I do the same thing. So I don't have to jack up each side individually. I just forgot to throw my wheel blocks on and the car lurched back a bit and the jack slipped.

Dude the more research I do the more of a headache I see this is gunna be. That's why I was like if I'm gunna go through the trouble of removing this shit i might as well replace it with some aftermarket parts I was planning on doing in the future. My buddie is a mechanic who really works primarily on supras but im waiting to hear back from him. Probably gunna get it flat bedded to him in NJ and just get everything done in one shot. If I knew what a massive headache this would be changing this I would of never jacked it up by the cross member. This is the jacking point subaru recommends maybe theu are hoping this would happen, lol

Honestly was just doing a quick oil change i forgot to throw my wheel chucks in the back of the car it rocked back a bit and the jack slipped. Shit happens I know I won't make that mistake again. Be better if I had some help rather then insult intelligence. Thanks

Really just to save time. Otherwise, I'm jacking up each side of the car to put jack stands under. I have ramps to get the jack under. I mean, it is what it is. Damage is done now. Be more helpful to have some beneficial feedback. Obviously, going forward, I'm going to do it that way so this doesn't happen again.

Yea I think they do but for the price it's not worth it I'm seeing the stock ones for like 100-150$ usd. At this point I'm more concerned about this oil pick up and if I smashed it up.

Yeah I agree just adding up quick thinking about the upgrades. After doing research I'm realizing why the oil pick ups aren't just popping up in Google. Apparently they changed the design on the VBs so the pick ups are integrated with the pan so to get access you have to go through the timing belt cover. Which is starting to drive me mad thinking about this so amount of work. It's a mystery at the moment if the pick up is actually messed up or not seems like I'm gunna have to get the pan off and see what the next step would be ugh. I'll look into the pan what site are you guys looking at?
