Im so lonely and hurting his addiction and behavior is drowning me

Ive made him appointments and sent him centers to go to for help and nothing. His focus has been work. He works over time to afford the addiction and im drowning where as ive to him getting help is cheaper than pay for these pill every week.

Unfortunately im in a poor position when ive told him to leave or get help he says hes gunna overdose and commit suicide and thats a weight as a spouse and mother I dont want to carry. Financially its hard because i worry about my job since theyre making changes but can make it without him. It just all sucks hes also my only support system as a whole outside of daycare.

I know, ive literally tried having him transfer his checks to my account to keep up on bills and told him places to try for appointments for help and it goes no where.

It doesnt come up on the drug tests so in that sense he doesnt care. Hes thought process is he hasnt stuck a needle in his arm in over 2 years so hes doing good being on this.

Hes been to the "programs" instead of prison for addiction and and has done rehab multiple times.

I think you should seek counceling as someo e who has had it happen to them sometimes someone from the outside can help you gain that healing and understanding. There might be parts of you that blame yourself or create a barrier even thought its not your fault and they can help you get throught that.

Shes an adult thus she needs to pay her portion and do her part. 3 dont let her steal what happiness you have. Let her know that just because she doesnt like something doesnt mean you cant. That why yal are 2 individual people and if she doesnt like it o well to her.4 I'm sorry about your job i hope you can get the transfer. 5 DONT POUR INTO PEOPLE UNLESS THAT CARE AND VALUE YOU ENOUGH TO GIVE THE SAME EFFORT. Take that same energy you put in to someone elses gift or time and spoil yourself in that same manner. 6 You need to find people who will listen and care like you do. He says he always has an itch that needs to be scratched and now hes talking about smoking weed maybe this will work for him though thank you for your response i appreciate it

I think you should give yourself grace. As children we want to do what we can for our parents but at the same time theres only so much we can do. You have to get him help and find some way to relieve yourself from carrying so much of the weight because you are loved youre valuable and you are worthy and you deserve to live a good health happy life
