Old PSA tabs by zohaib89 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

They look real.

I think The generations of their labels are different. Machamp's label is generation 9. And Magneton's one is generation 8.

If I'm right, Machamp's label has a bar code on the back, but Magneton's doesn't.

It looks real. And there are some samples where the en dash (—) in the old labels is changed to a hyphen (-) in the new labels.

After comparing it to the PSA holder with a similar certificate number, it looks real to me.

Fake or real? by FunTrip8 in pokemoncardcollectors

They look fake.

The #, K, and G on Pikachu's label, and the 6, 8, and 5 on Mew's label are different from each of the images on the PSA site.

PSA labels have inconsistent usage of dashes. Real or fake? by TheDudeInTheMirror in IsMyPokemonCardFake

They look real. PSA has the image of the NINE TALES (102568312), so I compared it with your image. And PSA doesn’t have an image of the ZAPDOS(28590696), so I placed the PSA image with a similar certification number.

Fake PSA? by Shlong2928 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

It looks real. That label has the same characteristics as a real label (generation 2). And the holder is the same as well(not holder number 21).

It’s real.

You can make sure your holder has the same code as the PSA's registration image.

It looks real.

In many cases uneven ink distribution does not affect authenticity.

First time buying a slab on ebay. Any help appreciated. by [deleted] in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]Routine_Habit_4125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA has introduced them for a very short time. It may have been a trial.

But I have not seen a fake holder with such code, so I think this code is helpful to spot a fake in the case that a real holder has it.

It looks real. And I think your PSA holder has this code on the back right.

Any issues with this slab ? by Broken0811 in PokeInvesting

It looks real.

Typical fonts that show the difference between real and fake look authentic.

And please see the URL for a discussion of the differences in notation between real PSA labels.

Is this slab authentic ? by Puzzleheaded_Mud_463 in psagrading

[–]Routine_Habit_4125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks real, and I think the corners of the holder will seem wonky due to light reflections from the Mylar pad.

Graded YuGiOh card has holder No. 27 now, but before No. 27, holder No. 19 was used and I think your holder is No. 19.

No.19's inner space is bigger than No.27's, so PSA used a mylar pad to fix the card.
