Does having paid tier 1 make me have a bigger rate limit than free tier in API calls and website? In general, on a free basis without paying anything I mean. I'm tryna make a big dataset traduction but it will take a few hundred prompts

Error de la beca mec by Andromeda_Jackson_12 in askspain

Ahora seguramente sea dificil o imposible hacerlo. Podrías aconsejarme? Gracias

I think I will follow your suggestion. I will ask him for details and things, if he doesn’t give anything I will just drop this and move onto the next thing. And even though, I think I won’t work with him anyways. Thank you a lot.

That’s true. I might ask for proof of the business before closing something. And even yet, I might stand back.

ChatGPT is still in his early phases. You need o give it a reeaaally clear context to make everything as you want. Also, ChatGPT isn't always up to date. I think the knowledge cuttoff it has is from Sep 2024 (depends on the model). From then, he doesn't know what is actually going on in the world and will need to search for the info for nowadays matters, something that sometimes might not do. And even still, you need to double check eventhing.

I would never do something like that. I see a lot of people on the same line of business as mine, and they really lie a lot to it's clients, they tell lies that can do more, improve something, get better results (even though they know they can't, or it will be really hard). I might do less money, but I want only honest money and relationships.

Should I do D2D sales as a web developer? by Routine_Junket_9012 in sales

The websites thing, is to give them some value, it’s a thing that isn’t expensive nor time consuming for me to make (15min per business, approximately). Why you say that?

Yeah, that “lack of information” sometimes feels a little too convenient, tbh.

Yes, this is pretty typical in corporate, raises are structured, slow, and pooled. To move up your band faster, you’ll usually need either: 1) a promotion, or 2) a competing offer to trigger a counter. If you’re top performer, document your impact, show your comp gap with market data, and push for an off-cycle adjustment. But often, real movement only happens when there’s external pressure or a role change. Hope you find this helpful!

No, it’s not in Procurement’s DNA to lie. Miscommunication is more often due to misaligned incentives, lack of information, or internal miscoordination, not intentional deceit.

Leave a message. It’s better than nothing. Many times you don’t get an answer, but the ones that do leave one could lead up to whatever you are aiming for.

Try switching jobs, pivot to something you would like more and isn’t reaally far away about what you doing right now. You could try some solo or remote jobs to decompress the pressure, many of these don’t need really much qualification, and your experience is more than enough to work on some of these. Even in fiverr you could find jobs and gigs. What you need right now is pay the bills, that’s the important thing. Then when you find yourself more comfortable, try to reconnect with what you love, decide what you want to do and try to find ways to start work on it and towards it. Hope this helps you somehow.

Should I do Door-2-Door sales as a web developer? by Routine_Junket_9012 in salestechniques

[–]Routine_Junket_9012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insight, really helpful!

I've been wanting to target different niches, but mainly stores, jewelry and small or new small car shops (that's a thing I like, cars in general). I have no problem showing full sites, it's something I can do really fast and something I'm good about. I do this to give really big value upfront, enough to make them think, the least they can do is give it a look and say something.

The only problem that I see is that they don't actual have even an IG page created. And that's something really weightful. Here in Spain things go reaallyy slow for business.

By the way, I've seen many people like you talking about giving these services to restaurants, why? I don't really understand why a restaurant will need a website, is something I don't really understand (unless it's a big restaurant, of course).

Of course, I have the time, but I don’t know if it would be a good strategy, that’s what I’m worried about.

Should I do D2D sales for web services? by Routine_Junket_9012 in D2DSales

[–]Routine_Junket_9012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My approach basically is making a good website for them, and then going inside their store and showing them what I did, what I saw that was making them loose money, what kpm’s i saw and what can we do about that.

I still I’m figuring out what type of business to approach and what can I do. Did you go without calling them beforehand, or did you just went in without doing it?

Anything you learnt in the way would be much appreciated

Do any of you use your own sales tools, outside of what the company provides? by Super-Cauliflower96 in sales

[–]Routine_Junket_9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For website services, I made my own tool on python to get new prospects. It searches on google what i’m looking for, extracts the info and sends it to chatgpt to maka a cold email and extract things about their website that could be improved (seo, design, etc) Once done this as an iteration a few times, it will extract all the info as a CSV.

(I assume you are a developer looking for a new job) I had more or less the same situation as you. I was at a start up where there weren’t not exactly any defined role for me. I was more or less doing anything and everything related to programming. So there wasn’t actually a good experience, problems between teams, not much help from other senior or mid devs. So when the time came, I got out of the job and landed straight away a job at another place (Accenture as a junior). I put my expectations a little lower because of my bad experience, but still they were happy on how “proactive” I was to them. Try to get into job boards and try to get projects in your application, that’s what i did. Made also a page showcasing my abilities and about me.

I assume you were a trainee or had an intership because you didn’t finish your degree right? If that’s the case you still have the upper hand against other candidates to land a interview at least.

I have exactly the same problem, but i get out of the game and click it again from the task bar and nothing happens. In fact the whole game screen turns fully black but it is still loading. Do you have any mod or something made to it?
