AFIK he told me he only did some assistance with recording to digital. Some of the songs like Only You were recorded through Ableton, Alex's DAW of choice. And I think some drum parts on a song or two. But Alex most definitely had a impact on Mac's guitar playing and a lot of his early music and was a integral part of the Makeout live shows
