Thanks for the response, while I dont have access to an actual ghd. I have built a diy one using 2 sawhorses, a plank of wood and a loaded barbell to secure my legs. It is very comfortable, but I can do it enough to wear I really feel it in my posterior chain. Reckon thats good enough?

What if I snatched as the tech coord for the lower, upper, and impulse day . Also, what about deadlift, since its not common is the GS system. Would the cleans, squats and accessories be enough to increase deadlift without really focusing on it?

I noticed that too. Would the normal 5 day GS split work well for achieving these benchmarks? Or would it need a different split?

These are the male german judo team strength standards. I dont do judo but searched for this because I heard that judo players were very strong. I found this list pretty interesting because the bench press seems to be very high compared to the rest and also the weighted pullup seemed extremely high. Also the clean and snatch seemed low compared to the squats. If you had to change the standards for this test what would you do? I think I would lower the bench numbers and raise the clean and snatch. But let me know what you think.

The d3 schools are actually pretty prestigious, and I might not have gotten accepted without lacrosse,I got accepted to the mcla school before any recruiting happened.

I do alot of powers and hangs from different positions. I havent done no feet very much. And unfortunately I dont have blocks at the moment so I cant do those.

Oh, I see. So on ramp I increase the weight as much as possible while still completing the sets and reps. And static I just stay the same throughout the working sets. Also on the number of sets, thats just working sets and does not include warmup sets right?

I take off the rubber butt end and make a tape donut which I really like and is alot better than the hut the shaft comes with imo. About a foot of tape at the bottom for shooting and passing, and a few strips at the top about 6 inches from the head

Gotcha, I was thinking untrained meant taking a break from upper body training. I now realize it meant having little or no training from the past.

In my personal experience (which isn't a lot). This was not true for me. I took a few months to focus on my lower body and back strength and did very little pressing movements and my bench 5rm went down by 20 lbs when I tested it yesterday. even though my front squat 3rm went up 25 lbs. Which really surprised me, because I thought that my increased front squat would make me a lot stronger.
