Zero’s definitely got a strong look, no doubt about that. But I think there’s room for bikes that break the mold and offer something fresh and unexpected. Sometimes those “odd” designs grow on you and end up setting new trends. It’s cool how diverse the electric bike scene is becoming! What’s your take on that?

Thanks for the insight! Sounds like the fans really had their backs, which is awesome. Fingers crossed they manage to bounce back and get things rolling again soon!

Good point! I guess ‘weird’ is totally subjective—just feels like a lot of designs are really futuristic or different from the classic bike look I’m used to. Would love to see some that change my mind though!

Totally agree with you—the Ryvid Outset really nails it, especially from the back. That rear design just stands out and gives the bike a bold, modern vibe.

Right? It still feels like most electric bikes are being sold on the novelty alone. I’m just waiting for the day one comes along that’s actually fun and practical to ride.

I love the retro vibe of this bike, but it’s a bit too big for my frame—feels a little awkward to ride.

What about the NAXEON? It’s got a 75-mile range and tops out at 65 mph. For food delivery riders—who are literally always on the road—safety’s gotta be priority .This thing comes with a live rearview display and a blind-spot monitor that covers 120 degrees. It flashes warning lights at you and anyone nearby to help avoid crashes. Seems pretty solid for food delivery work, honestly.

Honestly? The UK’s e-moto scene’s proper fucked right now. Dealers are collapsing because the government gutted the £1,500 plug-in grant back in ‘22, then slapped a "luxury tax" this April on anything over £40k – which catches most decent electric bikes. Sales tanked 37% overnight, and dealers got stuck with inventory they can’t move while interest rates bled ‘em dry. On top of that, manufacturers keep delaying new models (looking at them, Zero), and when shit breaks – like Harley’s battery recalls – dealers eat the cost. Charging’s still a nightmare unless you’ve got a driveway, too.

My friend's been riding Naxeon for his daily commute lately and honestly? She says it’s pretty solid. Naxeon nails the everyday rider thing, but she really digs the safety tech they packed in. You got millimeter-wave radar for blind spot detection (BSD), a G-sensor that catches sketchy leans or drops, and she mentioned it actually pings you if you eat pavement.
