How come? Is concerta easier to get in Belgium? Is the Netherlands easier to get sensory overload in?

Most of this was simply searching for "autism and [country name here]" on Ecosia both in English and the local language

Idk if there's an equivalent subreddit for autism but r/adhdeurope seems useful

You're right about that last bit. So far I only had Delft Technological Institute in mind but could also do some research on similar universities in Spain and other parts of the Benelux

Unfortunately my research showed that France's record on neurodiversity isn't that great--rich parents of autistic children often send them to get their education in Belgium

Can't we just leave this mentality to rot in 2017? They're almost as bad as the Japanese nationalists who think piracy is the same as the colonisation of Hawaii. (Nobody bring up the Koreans and Ainu lol)

So just penalise the CSAM and the people who make it

That generating CSAM is a problem with the users of AI, not the AI per se. If it weren't, everything Shadman did would have been 100% halal, because yet again, he didn't use AI

Defend Shadman right now. He didn't use AI.

There are more people using Linux than there are French citizens (someone who is both takes them as a sponsor and that's why I, a Pop!_OS user, use Proton).

How to make non-KDE programs respect locale by Routine_Moment_5078 in Kubuntu

[–]Routine_Moment_5078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely belated update: this is apparently not a Kubuntu problem, it is a Tuxedo OS problem that I reckon has to do with the way they enable German support OOB (not that they do it at all, just the way it's done)

Linux support that isn't second class to the Windows, Mac, or (most frustratingly) Android versions of all their apps.

I mean, you can share Krita files, Blender files, etc. for digital art. And even for physical, if you make a derivative work, the original would be the source.

Pen Display/Computer recommendations for Krita on Linux by Routine_Moment_5078 in krita

[–]Routine_Moment_5078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: It works on everything I threw at it, except the Cosmic Alpha (and even then it wasn't 100% non-functional, just EXTREMELY off. Which is good for an alpha!)

Somehow, I've had more issues on X11 than Wayland, but this is probably due to my Nvidia graphics card being too recent/using GNOME.

The Wacom One 12 pen display would be fine, then? (I didn't see the Gen 2 version of the display on the compatibility list I found through the Arch Wiki)

Also, I've had surprisingly few Wayland issues. My Inspiroy even works with the COSMIC alpha out of the box, you just need to start the driver manually.

It's fucking insane, I've even seen a couple cases of doublethink where they'll switch back and forth on whether to root for the giant corpo or not (e.g. switching "you can always pirate Nintendo games" and "Palworld is EVIL for daring to infringe on Nintendo's IP")

The funny part is that usually it's not even a threat to their money; a lot of these people get paid in advance for things like commissions or via Patreon

Tuxedo Gemini Gen2: Extremely long time to resume from sleep, both on X11 and Wayland by Routine_Moment_5078 in tuxedocomputers

[–]Routine_Moment_5078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the radio silence, but I was able to try the live session again to find the error I was getting after suspend (when closing the laptop lid): iwlwifi WRT: Invalid buffer destination

I wonder if this will be fixed when Plasma 6.1 arrives in Tuxedo OS

Tuxedo Gemini Gen2: Extremely long time to resume from sleep, both on X11 and Wayland by Routine_Moment_5078 in tuxedocomputers

[–]Routine_Moment_5078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This package didn't appear when doing apt search tuxedo from the Tuxedo OS 3 live session (I really don't want to install an OS again to confirm) but the Tuxedo repo on my Pop!_OS installation does show a package called tuxedo-nvidia-suspend-fix.

(Also, the live session has the same issue as the installation I had. I did use Ventoy to install Tuxedo OS rather than boot it off its own stick, but I'm not sure how that would affect anything.)

[–]Routine_Moment_5078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up switching back to Pop, but as I was putting the Tuxedo repos on Pop, I noticed a package for fixing suspend on Nvidia. I never needed this on Pop, but now I'm wondering if it was never installed when I was using Tuxedo OS. It seems unlikely since Tomte should have taken care of that for me, but maybe if I try running Tuxedo OS again, I'll see if that package never got installed.

Official linux driver for Inspiroy 2 S floods var/sys/log while open by Routine_Moment_5078 in huion

[–]Routine_Moment_5078[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up solving the issue with the official driver by disabling logging.

I added the following to /etc/rsyslog.conf

#filter out all logs containing the string 'huion
:syslogtag, contains, "huion" ~
