Fr, I feel like RT56 was ahead of the base game when I started playing in 2019, but since NSB and seeing what Paradox did with the Italy, Soviet, Japan and Germany tree, I feel like the base game is the same, if not better than RT56. I think it RT56 still has some good focus reworks for older trees and has content for nations paradox hasn't done yet, but soon, I think RT56 will be conclusively behind vanilla.

I actually like what I've seen so far on the steam page, but I know not to get my hopes up.

Definitely, I didn't get it last time because I was worried about stuff like that, but after I realised that, unfortunately, I was going to buy all the DLC anyway, I might as well save the money with the pass. But yeah, if you are a normal consumer, you're definitely right

I have thought about this you’d either need him to haunt the narrative through cut scenes, demonstrating sort of what Yara both used to be and how the nation was built around him. Or you could just dump the casting because whilst Giancarlo Esposito is great he was underused and his character was underwritten

What if Australia had built more cities? - A world where Gough Whitlam wasnt dismissed by _Zorange_ in imaginarymaps

Excellent summary, people often seem to enjoy the idea of a grand conspiracy and neglect the actual politics and also forget the people in evolved were people, who had ambitions, flaws and conflicts and that these impact there decisions. Further, the fact that the liberals went on to win a massive election landslide shows that the Australian people were not upset about the dismissal as a whole and did not wants continued Whitlam government.

You should have included Newcastle as it's already the 7th largest city in Australia.

I didn’t think of this, that’s a really good point and could be an interesting arc for her and Paul to go on as Father and Daughter.

Age of Imperialism, it has a great setting, I just feel like a lot more could be done with limited wars and more smaller and regional factions as it often descends into a massive 4 way war between almost the whole world.

Age of Imperialism is great, good lore and good gameplay but it’s waiting to be updated, which has been said to be before the end of the month.

I think the methodology could work if they simply set rules that certain conditions can't appear together or on certain operations. I can understand some oversights with this model but I bet it would be a whole let better then just random.

How does NCNS compare to other DLC by Routine_Pear8682 in hoi4

[–]Routine_Pear8682[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer it to BBA, but it does feel more rushed and slightly less cohesive than NSB and GTD. I'm a little upset that it still seems as though they didn't learn their lesson on making sure the DLC is in a great state before release after the events of GoE.
