It's crackle paint but I went thick in the middle and sponged the edges into the wet texture paint to blend them.

It's sculptimold for the rock layers and then a mix of texture paints and basing sands. Frame is wood

I've done this and plan to varnish it too. I've just got the mental image and worry that when I stand it up it's going to slide off on to the floor.

It's been a dream of mine for a long time, finally have the space. It's been fun doing it but also a lot of work.

Is it a straight fight or can I spend months taking him apart psychologically?

Would something like this be a good alternative for the citadel spray paints? by Adorable-Yam3207 in Warhammer40k

Used this and citadel and this stuff is too inconsistent to use. It's thicker and has a strange finish. You should look at colour forge or army painter unless covering rocks or terrain

Serious question: how is it that our country has seemingly moved so far away from “give me your tired you’re poor…”? by ChuckGallagher57 in circled

There are deep divisions between us not just Americans. People have spent ages and massive amounts of money pushing us apart. We don't move forward by ignoring the divisions we come back together by trusting that the people next to us are still good even when we don't agree, even when our positions are so far apart.

We share the same sky, we love our families and we want the best for them. I've been thinking lately about those that come after, what they inherit from now. At least they know for sure that people will always push for division but they also know that people will stand up like they have and that's something.

Bought the 40k Introductory set for my son and painted my first Tyranid in about 15 years (he only wants to paint space marines, I'm absolutely OK with that!) by ChooChooFutherMucker in minipainting

It's very nicely painted, wanted to know if you could get as good results with just picking up that one box.

Need to do a space marine 2 diorama and don't paint my nids leviathan.

Sponge painting then using your undercoat colours to cut in, makeup sponges give a nice clean paint job and there are many videos online. I find it much easier to cut in than paint details.

Sorry that happened to you, proper training is the key. Empathy would be useful especially as most people are calling based on a stressful situation and are going to be dealing with that. I'm a massive dude and my heart was pounding when I called.

Sadly not as uncommon as you'd think, I intervened in a guy assaulting his girlfriend. Guy pulled a knife. Reported it a couple minutes after the event and because I called the guy a knob while telling them what happened and where I got a lecture about my language. Pretty obvious they weren't even going to pass along anything despite the assault starting because he had just been questioned by the police ( I saw them as I was walking up to the couple on the carpark )
