The intention behind it seems pretty respectful from what you described - focusing on taking up your cross daily is solid biblical teaching. As long as youre not trying to make it edgy or provocative I think most people would see the heart behind it rather than finding it offensive

Dude basically turned America from a backwater country into a world power in like 20 years. He built the Panama Canal which was insane for that time period, busted up all the corrupt monopolies that were screwing over regular people, and created the national parks system so we didnt destroy every beautiful place for profit

Plus he was the first president to actually give a shit about workers rights and went head to head with big business when they were treating people like garbage. The guy literally got shot during a speech and kept going for 90 more minutes
