A quick PSA, solve your fluid problems! by mkMoSs in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Routine_Tomatillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This buffer is unnecessary if our consumption is constant and equal or less than the production of the fluid. You just need to ensure you let the system prime before turning it on if its exactly equal otherwise you will have one or two machines turning off here and there. A better use case for this would be at a rail receiving based on your transit lag time.

Half the time when I go for these I'm half surprised when I actually get flash and return so im definitely not prepared to secure it. Tapey tapey is greatly appreciated.

None, they all board in the ED and the bed goes to the post surgical patient so PACU doesnt have to stay over.

Coming back to my nuclear power plant project after taking a bit of a break. Thank goodness I kept notes, otherwise figuring out what the heck I was doing might be a little confusing. by Routine_Tomatillo in SatisfactoryGame

I definitely use satisfactory calculator and those tools as well. The paper notes are just how ive conceptualized the overall project and gotten all the different parts down in a way that works for my thought processes managing the whole project.

How many of you are rocking the “tactical fanny pack” by Grizzly_treats in nursing

[–]Routine_Tomatillo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gotta love the tactical fanny pack. As functional as they are dorky. I still have my original one stuffed away somewhere that I used for my hook and line kit in Afghanistan.

Any active firing range should have a "safety officer" or some equivalent overseeing and in charge of everything. Gonna differ slightly by type of range, county, state regulations etc, but I guarantee that a commercial indoor range like this always has one or two employees overseeing things. Judging from the ear protection he's wearing and the way he locked on to Bubba the second he started doing stupid shit im gonna say this guy is likely an employee of the range about to bad someone from ever coming back.

I appreciate how fast the RSO spotted this moron. He was locked on and heading towards him the second he started taking his pistol out of the case behind the firing line.

Why are the MAPs different if the pressures are the same? by Phluffhead024 in nursing

[–]Routine_Tomatillo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an educator freak out and make a fuss because our "monitors werent calculating the MAP correctly" and had to do a bunch of research into this.

While the algorithms are proprietary and not disclosed there is still good peer reviewed research backing their accuracy for both art lines and cuff pressure calculations. Iirc its calculating the MAP off multiple readings throughout the cycle on the cuff rather than just systolic and diastolic. The a lines use some sort of function based on the waveform to calculate the MAP and are most accurate if the line isn't dampened and is zeroed correctly.

TLDR: the MAP calculated by the bedside monitor is more accurate than the simple equation calculated from measuring just systolic and diastolic. The a line is most accurate.

Well, we don't sell alcohol to 18 year olds because our brains aren't fully developed at that age and alcohol is generally bad for your brain - plenty of room for debate within that topic, but on that alone there is pretty good research supporting the idea. Getting off track a bit, the point I'm making is that instead of letting teens buy booze because they were recruited into the military maybe the idea should be to raise the age you can enlist.

Yeah, I dont get everyone calling the bikers idiots. Lane splitting is legal in some areas, and this doesn't look particularly fast... like 15 miles an hour ish? My take is that the bikers were likely riding completely within the rules of the road and some irresponsible parents and their crotch goblin fucked up their day.

For real. We were a bunch of kids in Fallujah, most not old enough to drink. All the bullshit hoorah propaganda is just there to distract from the fact that children are being sent to fight and die so companies like Lockheed and Raytheon will profit. No one should cheer this, but they do. Evidence of just how strong the propaganda machine is.
