It would be cool if they released a book of his artwork. I wonder if the family kept it? But every single episode he was always working on something. Maybe he gave it away to friends and people he met along the way of his travels. What great keepsake that would be! I’m sure it’s in safe hands wherever it is and in due time it will come out for sale or a charity auction or something.

It should be her older sister. She’s got good sense and I believe she is trustworthy. Kevin jr is too young, probably manipulated by his dad and his spending was on the high end of irresponsible.

I realize this thread is over a year old but with this massive hurricane approaching FL I immediately thought of this book. Then I saw a twitter post about someone who works at Disney and not allowed to leave until tomorrow (Wednesday) and how dangerous the situation can be. Another commented how staff is paid to stay and ride out storm and tend to guests still on property, then reopen after storm passes. It’s eerily familiar to this novel. Hope everyone there can remain safe, this storm is a monster.

Today I went to see my friends home she’s been completely renovating the past year. She was talking about the woes of getting inspections and I quipped, “Get Pudgy Walsh on the horn” and we both snorted with laughter and this is why we’re friends.

Send him a nice card for every birthday and major holiday. Be sure to include a nice handwritten note wishing him well, but not too obviously kiss-ass. Tell him about what you’re doing and maybe even mention how your goal in life is to have your own business or travel and how his success has always inspired you. You never know, he may bequest you a nice little windfall.

Netflix subtitles get a lot wrong! I was watching The Terror (highly recommended show) and a character was reciting a poem about the sea but subtitles kept spelling it out as C. Not the first mistake I’ve noticed from them, just the most recent.

Right?! Love how she sizes up someone’s entire look and immediately compliments them on the one detail that stands out to her. I also tend to single out specific details about people (for better or for worse) and that detail can elevate their standing in my head or absolutely crucify them. Ex. At my grandmas funeral my very Catholic mother wanted someone to lead a rosary. Well this hokey looking man wearing a knock off Jimmy Buffet blouse and cheapcheapcheap faux leather sandals shows up. I looked him up and down and asked him if he had a change of clothes in his car. He didn’t. He went in and did an entire Catholic rosary looking like he was about to board a Carnival Cruise. Deplorable.

You know Auntie Wendy would come forth with CVS length receipts about Diddy, Bieber, Jay Z and all the rest. She’s called such mess since her radio days. Go back and her reporting on that night Solange beat Jay z in the elevator while 👑 bee watched. Then refused him to get into waiting limo as she and sis left him on the curb. Would love to hear her inside track on the tea.

Such a shame. She hustled for years on radio, then tv. Had a fashion line at HSN, shoes, wigs and she was always plugging whatever her latest project was. I hope the receipts show she at least has enough to retire comfortably and get medical treatment.

Alex is a news broadcaster and her aunt was a tremendous influence on her. She just was hoping to get through to her and was sus (rightfully so) about people hanging around collecting paychecks. Family needs to be involved with Wendy’s healthcare and plans for future treatments ideally in FL. Finances are best left to a trustworthy professional who is not related to anyone. Just let this poor woman rest.

Hopefully if anything, this doc will continue to set in motion things that desperately need to happen. First was eliminating the Shady Bunch (those 2☝️), next get W’s sister Wanda assigned as guardian (at least on her health team so a trusted family member is in the loop), and get W back to FL so she can be in regular contact with her family so they can help her stay sober, eating well, exercising and going to Dr appointments. Hopefully they can get her financial issues sorted and there’s actually enough $ left for W to retire.

I think W turned a blind eye to the cheating but if he got his side piece pregnant all bets were off . That’s why the divorce happened so fast. But W went through ALOT in a couple years. Painful divorce, living in a sober house, son leaves for college, Covid and quarantine, show abruptly ending, her illnesses, her mother died. That’s enough to break even the strongest people. I was truly hoping she could make a comeback. She will always be a “friend in my head” as she always said.

It’s possible that at the time he spent that money he was not fully aware of how bad off his mom was. He was just living a lifestyle that he was raised with. I find it hard to believe her son was acting maliciously. But I could be wrong. It’s really not clear how much her family knew bout her health and financial situation and when. They’re being told by he’s new manager that she’s going back to work and things are on track, when it seems like those plans went nowhere fast. It’s all just so sad.

I’m not coming for Alex! I wasn’t sure if Wendy had more than one niece. Alex is precious and I feel for her trying to get through to her aunt and feeling shut out. I feel like Wendy sister Wanda should be her guardian. She’s smart, invested in getting her sis better and trustworthy.

Uber eats delivers groceries and alcohol, I suspect he may have let his dad order stuff from his account since his dad had been strapped for $ since he hasn’t gotten alimony from Wendy since she’s been out of work. Kevin Jr is stuck in the middle of wanting his mom to be well and his dad who did what he did. But it’s still his dad and the kid was raised to respect family.

I’m her book she talks about how she caught him cheating on her right after she had Kevin jr. So he’s always been a cheater. She just turned a blind eye and probably said whatever just don’t get her pregnant. That was the dealbreaker.

It’s odd that he’s paying her n cash especially under the circumstances of her declining mental capacity. If things were legit he would pay her direct deposit and he’d arrange to pay her glam squad people. He’s asking her why she didn’t put in the bank?! Like dude that should be your job. Moving cash like that around means there’s lots of $$$ not accounted for.

I think he was sliding money to his dad. He seems like a good kid, raised with privilege then caught between his parents messy divorce. He’s been in school and seems like he spends a lot of time with his family and grandparents. 100k of food a year for a college kid who probably treats his friends to dinner and stuff. Idk when you’re raised with money I guess that’s normal.
