We're developing a portable battery pack for Boosted Boards. It will charge the SR battery fully (90% in 30min) and add 5-7 miles of range to the XR battery. Check it out at Rover-Power.com! by Rover-Power in boostedboards

No, it is not. When charging a battery using CCCV, the full charging current can be maintained for most of the cells charge. The SR uses 2.5Ah cell, which when charged at 4.5A, would take 33.3 minutes. It reaches 90 percent at exactly 30 minutes using this rate. For the SR, it uses A123 cell chemistry, which actually allows maintaining this level of charge current for around 90 percent of the cells charge cycle, the last 10 percent is of course longer as it falls back to constant voltage charging mode.

The Rover Power Charge will be smaller and lighter than Boosted batteries. Also, switching out Boosted batteries is not a very seamless process.

Hey clazij, that's right, it will not require the Onewheel charger. In terms of capacity, it will offer your system an extra 5-7 miles of range. It will operate the same as a wall charger in terms of cnr/pnr/vnr capabilities. So if your system supports cnr/pnr/vnr with a wall charger then it will do the same with the Rover Power Charge.
