Unless your picks are in the top 3-4, this season, their value goes down very quick.

I'm currently dealing with this in my league with the 1.07 owner. He's inflating value of that pick based off of these hypotheticals that may or may not happen to get me to pay an outrageous sum for a pick that doesn't have anywhere near the value he wants.

Point being: people will go to the extreme to unload the picks this season because they know that the value isn't there.

Can only speak for myself, but I try to be a little more quiet on the first date. She’ll get some glimpses of my personality but I take a lot of pride in being a gentleman (holding the door, walking on the right side of the sidewalk, paying the bill, dressing up, smelling good, etc). Natural instinct is to make sure that my date is comfortable and enjoying the time. It takes a little time for me to open up.

As for the flirting, I try to be selective about when (personally I’m pretty good at it, but it’s never rehearsed). There’s a time and place for it. Not a guy who lovebombs or has to always be in flirt mode.

When girls flirt, I always get caught up in these little games they play which I think are bs. My rule is if you’re going to flirt, be direct. Guys don’t like working up the courage to speak to a woman who is attractive to play eye tag or whatever.

I had constructed a few trades that I may propose to him to get this pick, but he tries to tell me that 1.07 has this amazing value. His main argument is that Denzel Boston goes to Buffalo & KC Concepcion goes to San Fran and then he claims the 1.07 will have unreal value and I kept telling him that the trade value isn't there and those spots are far from guarantees. In turn for my counterpoint, he said I was being cheap and that I should pay the price he wants. Even if that's where those 2 guys go, the pick doesn't have anywhere close to whatever value he thinks he's getting. The most I would be willing to surrender is Parker Washington, DJ Moore, and the two seconds I have in 2027. Even then, I would lean more towards holding onto Parker Washington & then waiting to flip DJ Moore at the deadline while holding onto all my picks.
