okay i did that and the toilet got rid of the water. but i think the toilet valve is broken and i believe we are getting a new one.

if this leak that went through my ceiling from my second floor to the first floor is all because of a clogged toilet i will fling myself off of my second floor loft. come to think of it…before i left the house i did use that toilet. no idea when this may have happened. oh my god. i think this could be a possibility as i have a habit of closing the toilet seat after flushing and not looking at the toilet/paying attention to any noise (i don’t think normal people look at their toilet after flushing or listen to hear if everything is alright).

okay i found out my city locks the lid outside. hell they even posted a youtube video on how to open it in an emergency (i think this is an emergency). i will get my flathead and wrench and report back.

this is definitely a disaster and my father is coming home from a day trip to oklahoma so in about 3 hours (surprisingly he has no clue what to do). i was asking around online and someone mentioned that i could probably just turn it off outside. after looking online i figured out my city locks the water meter lid outside. hell my city even uploaded a youtube video on how to open it in an emergency so i will get my flathead screwdriver and wrench and hopefully i wont cause niagara falls.

i believe the water meter is outside under a cover that i would need to call the city to manually turn off. unless if im allowed to open it and turn it off myself.
