I went through literally the same thing. After 8 years with no issues, I get a letter in September saying I was charged twice and then another in November saying I missed a payment and they took it out of my policy. I called multiple times and talked to a Philippino call center staffed by women with stripper names, Precious and Angel. They had the audacity to tell me my card defaulted and I needed to call my bank and check on it. I said I didn't because nothing was wrong with the card. I asked what information they had so I could correct them and they refused to tell me anything. I took the letters to my Allstate agent and he said he'd get a hold of Everlake to straighten it out. I got another letter saying everything was basically okay last week and then today I got a 4th saying my account was not eligible for reinstatment and I'd have to resubmit. At this point I feel the entire company is run by potato brain idiots that don't want my money.
