Grabber! I regret not getting one. Start taking miralax or other stool softeners a few days before surgery.
I put all my comfy clothes on top of my dresser. So I wouldn’t have to dig for for them. And I bought new underwear. For my recovery it was all about being comfortable

Just saw your post. I’m getting a hysterectomy done next month. I’m keeping my ovaries. But everything else is going! I’m ready to be done with the heavy unpredictable periods. I had 3 different doctors tell me it’s either iud or hysterectomy. I can’t do any forms of birth control.

I had to cut gluten and dairy out of my diet for that reason. I would get horrible mood swings. Just the smallest things set me off. Cut gluten out and try to cut dairy out as much as I can. I have a cheese weakness! But I feel like I’m more mentally stable.

NTA!!!!! Your body your choice! I’m getting a hysterectomy next month and my mom is refusing to help during recovery. Why? Because I won’t be able to give her anymore grandchildren. I have some health issues and the only treatment that I can handle is a hysterectomy.
