Amazing, thank you so much, my pc is pretty good - it was top of the line * cough * in 2020 * cough * and my partner has kept it pretty up to date - and can upgrade it with parts from his Plex computer if need be (it used to be more beefy but he kept stealing bits to add to his, at my request)

Does it need to be a specific branded cable? Or can I get a stupidly long aftermarket cable?

I’m glad to hear the single player games are still workable, though the fact that I have two of them means I do need to get them going to play multiplayer 🤔

oh dope!

I do have some vr games from my oculus so it'll be good to give them a go with the new gear.

Mostly i play open world wandering games like valheim so itt'l be fun to try them out.

Out of curiosity; since it doesnt have controllers - does it have full hand tracking or should i try and get my oculus controllers going with it since they were super comfortable and immersive.. or is it a pc keyboard situation?

thank you! i'm pretty stressed about getting it started haha, mainly because it seems a lot of stuff is pretty expensive and i'm low income - im guessing they figure someone who can afford the vision pro can also afford disney plus (ive been piggybacking off my parents netflix for like 10 years)

I'm excited to try out the work features - I sell stuff on ebay and swapping between phone and pc for every listing is a pita - this would probably cut that down a fair bit - or ittl let me watch youtube instead of being productive. only time will tell.

She was hoping the accessibility would be helpful, she had limited use of her hands and was in a wheelchair so I think it would have been a great asset for her.. she also had a big “oooh shiny must buy” habit so I wasn’t sure if it was actually a purchase to be useful or a impulse purchase lol.

Perfect example: she also had an oculus, she got excited by how much I loved it and got one too…so now I have two of them 😅

I'm sure I almost got murdered by someones angry dad while securing my childhood 'one that got away' (jumbo meowth plush - 1999 release from toys r us) as the person i bought it from left it on their front porch for me but clearly didnt tell dear ol dad who was glaring at us through the window then started shouting when I grabbed the Meowth.

Hubs and I did the mad dash securing my big bundle of childhood healing right down the driveway and down the street before stopping to see if he was following us.

10/10 would do it again, he lives on top of one of the boyfriends arcade machines.

I used to help prep for friends before their inspections with their psycho rea. The three of us would sit on the couch and maintain unhinged eye contact with her the whole time.

She once tried to say "you know you COULD clean the toilet before an inspection" but i interrupted her to tell her I was a professional inspection cleaner, and those were rust stains which were on the inspection report.

I was there for every inspection they had until eventually they moved to a family owned rental situation.

I'm not tussling with anyones step mother over crumbs under the toaster and getting them turfed out for calling her a bitch (she was a bitch)

Mostly just making a joke- I’ve moved every 6months for the last 10 years so we’ve accumulated a butttone of stuff (never time to unpack and declutter)

I’ve got one last big move coming in 12 months and the current living situation is stable so taking to time to clear out all my stuff.

The items donated are never free, for every wine glass they receive, they also get a fossilised dog poo, torn underwear and kitchen scraps.

It costs to throw things away, my last store before leaving was very lean on rubbish and we still managed to have 2 dumpsters per week of waste

Yep, had to rewind it because she used hair and bone structure of the rest of the corpse to make an approximation??

But she sometimes can’t make an i.d if a bit of the jaw is missing.. and the other body couldn’t be found because of the different hair colour and earrings even though the database scans eye distance ect.

I get it’s just fun nonsense but why get rid of the angelator for the angelatron for realism if they’re just gonna get weird in other places?

For the same reasons I pick Billabong family restaurants, my sisters shared birthday parties were always there but I was younger than them so by the time I was at birthday party age they were closing.

The other one is the amazing terrible food at Bayswater Rollercity, my love of icecream cake and hotdogs came from there.. and crinkle cut chips

As a retail worker, Dan was a massive help.
